    This place was great being close to the CBD and transport but the only drawback for me was the metal steps to a top bunk and the limited space to actually get on the bed. The steps are very narrow and therefore hard on bare feet climbing the ladder. Also, I had to step on the lower bunk to get up the ladder which could have been annoying for anyone sleeping or lying there. Staff were very helpful and accommodating but registration was frustrating as I got halfway through and lost all the data when I went to access a driver's license... great vibe in the common areas and there was always someone doing some sort of cleaning around the place.

    Hostel was really nice! Great location in the city centre which made it really easy to get around and go out. Could probably use more showers but everything was very clean and the hostel was really sociable and had events on every night which was very easy to meet new people

    Recently refurbished. Easy to book and find. Simple accomodation in dorms but friendly in the best central area of the city. Safe. With a kitchen free tea coffee and the pancake mornings and other fun activities. Staff are helpful and available.

    Loud but central

    The accommodations are below average for a hostel. I am a good sleeper and have done fine in other 12 bed accommodations. However, between the street noise and loud noise from upstairs traveling through the narrow halls, I found myself waking up every two hours or so to loud noises. In addition to the noise there are very few bathrooms, 5 toilets and 5 showers between the two floors housing most guests. There was a line to shower almost every morning. However, what the hostel lacks in accommodations, it makes up for in location being central to the business district.

    After staying in a fair few hostels backpacking around Asia and Australia, this is the best hostel i’ve stayed in by far. The rooms are nice with privacy curtains and large storage lockers under the beds, with charging sockets by the beds and some rooms with wireless chargers. The staff are always cleaning the rooms and making sure everything is in place. The kitchen was the cleanest hostel kitchen i’ve ever seen with the sponges and towels being changed multiple times a day. The toilets and showers are nice and clean too. The staff are so lovely and friendly and so helpful. I’ve stayed here twice and would stay again and again.
