    My wife and l spent 2 wonderful days exploring the blue mountains region for a special anniversary trip and we were lucky enough to find a hidden gem for our accommodation.The Chalet Guest House was everything we could have wanted.Beautifully appointed rooms with antique furniture and wonderful artwork adorning all of the walls.After a very restful sleep we woke to one of the best appointed continental breakfast you would ever wish for with the added bonus of a cooked breakfast at a very modest surcharge which was served in an old world dining room full of wonderful art and antiques with the local parrots feeding and performing for the guests while we enjoyed our wonderful breakfast.The owners of the Chalet the two Davids were lovely hosts who were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.Anyone looking for accommodation around Medlow Bath could not go wrong choosing a very comfortable room at The Chalet Guest House.Thankyou to our wonderful hosts for making our stay so memorable.Cheers Jen and Phil

    Just loved it. Was looked after so well. Atmosphere relaxing and peaceful. A great place to recharge leaving the pressures of daily life behind. A step back in time. Very comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Short distance to walks and attractions

    Perfect Blue Mountains Getaway

    Very welcoming and informative host, lovely room and lounge room with so many interesting and unique antiques and artworks plus cosy open fire. Very adequate continental breakfast however can also order eggs or baked beans for a small cost. Can also bring takeaway dinner back and eat in the lovely old dining/lounge room and host will provide plates, cutlery, wine glasses etc. Also they have soft drinks, beer and wine available to purchase.A quite and tranquil setting. I don't often review however felt I had to put a review up for here. We will return!

    We loved staying here. The hosts are very friendly and can’t do enough to make sure your stay is perfect. They light the open fire in the dining room in the afternoon. Lovely room to sit and get to know other guests or just read a book! Artwork throughout and king parrots visit at breakfast time. Lovely old property. Short, easy drive to Katoomba and Blackheath. We will be back!

    What amazing hosts! David and David felt more like family than hosts and always went above and beyond. The accommodations and location was perfect, and will forever be one of the best experiences I have had and I will definitely recommend to anyone to stay with them. The wild parrots in the AM were a definite bonus.
