  Nightclub next door adds Saturday colour

  I liked the hotel and the staff are great. The location was also convenient for getting around Sydney. The restaurant downstairs is very handy and does a nice evening cocktail and a solid breakfast. I enjoyed my time but would encourage folks not to stay on a Saturday night as the thumping bass from the nightclub next door isn't congruent with a good night sleep. Can I just say that the door staff at the nightclub next door are also very nice and were happy to chat when I went over ay 12am to find out when they closed (2am or 3am depending on how things are going). Anyway, I was up all Saturday night but probably not having as much fun as the folks in the nightclub. Thinking about it, there is always the argument that if you can't beat them, join them. Any night of the week but Saturday night ... a great place to stay. Nightclub next door - based on the door staff and the thumping base - recommended.

  Stayed one night before a cruise. The hotel made our rooms available early as he arrived on an early, very long flight. Staff was friendly and helpful .Despite some legacy reviews, the continental breakfast was not free but certainly was worth purchasing. Easy walking access to The Rocks, Darling Harbour, and the Opera House.

  The bed was comfy with high quality bedding and pillows. The room was an ok size. The desk was very small and there is no storage in the room. The bathroom was excellent, well designed with a great shower. But the room itself was not very clean - I had to ask for the carpets to be cleaned around the edges. The same issue was visible in the communal areas. Completely unacceptable in a four star hotel. Breakfast is fine but quite limited for the price - extra for barista coffee. Service is slow and a little inconsistent at breakfast. Not worth the money, probably wouldn’t return

  We stayed here 3 nights on our last part of our Australia trip. The room itself felt a little small and the view was of the road and the building opposite so not great. It was clean and modern and everything seemed in good condition, which is something. At breakfast we were told that, due to us being diamond members of Hiltons loyalty scheme, we could have the continental breakfast but would have to pay more to have the cooked section of the buffet. We were told that we could have the cooked section that morning for free if we wished. We did try the cooked section, which was dry and over cooked, so decided it wasn't worth the extra. The hotel was walking distance from most places we wanted to visit or close enough to the ferries, to make it very convenient. Not sure I would return, however, on our next trip to Sydney.   Great introduction to Sydney

  Stayed here two nights before meeting up with my travel group. Overall, an excellent experience. Was able to check in early after long trip from US, was upgraded without charge, minibar free of charge, adequate breakfast, and very helpful staff. The location was very good with food and shopping available nearby. Room was well appointed, very clean, and quiet. Perfect place to recover from long flights.
