  Stayed here 2 nights as sole traveller. Room was spacious, freshly renovated (at least looked like it), very clean, and with everything needed. The restaurant had great service which was speedy despite being busy, but my steak was a poor 2 out of 10 being the only negative. I ate at Communion Brewery where the steak was a strong 9.5. Would definitely stay here again.

  Bask at Burnie Beach Hotel

  Had a wonderful stay at the Beach Hotel in Burnie. Burnie is a fairly small town but still beg enough to feel like there is plenty of space and activities to do.Rooms was nice and adequate. Comfortable bedding, clean and with all the supplies required for a pleasant stay.Nearby activities are just outside the door, there is the beach and playground across the road, the Burnie CDB is around the corner with major shops in that location.Safe area generally, it's quite a peaceful and relaxed city.Walking around Burnie is fairly easy, a few smaller hills around the hotel but nothing to steep. Main essentials like shopping, eating, drinking and tourist attractions are all around the corner.Food and drinks can be found nearby with Fast Food restaurants, bistros, convenience stores and supermarkets all surrounding the hotel.I was in town for the nightly penguin parade and it's only a mere 10 minute walk from the hotel.

  Super friendly service and clean rooms!

  Excellent service, location, and rooms!! This place is true value for money! Right when I walked in, I was greeted by name, offered room service breakfast for the following morning, and felt genuinely cared for. My room was cosy but had everything I needed, and the bed and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Their cleaners are obviously thorough and caring. For a Friday night, the noise from downstairs was minimal, and faint enough to serve as relaxing white noise. I really recommend to anyone just wanting a safe, clean, comfortable place to sleep with great service and great food available downstairs.

  I can’t believe that a hotel that had at least 15/20 drinkers in the bar all watching the football and firstly called last drinks at 3qtr time, it was a close match. Then when it was 8 minutes to go turned the football off. Had to go back to my room to watch the final minutesI understand the staff wanted to go home, you only needed to keep the bar open for 10 more minutes and you would’ve taken $200 more, just put the the sports on in a so called sports bar. Last time. Food was good, pity about the service

  We had a wonderful lunch here with a group of friends. The food was delicious, the quantity good and the variety excellent. The kitchen was very happy to work around allergies, for which I was very grateful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
