    Penthouse was perfect

    rating31 Mar 2026

My wife and I enjoyed 6 nights in the 2-bedroom Penthouse which offers panoramic views of Constitution Dock, River Derwent and all the way round to Mt. Wellington.Spacious is one way to describe the Penthouse, more like a house really. Very pleasant sitting in the large loungeroom (or on the balcony) and just take it all in.Chandelier Lounge is beautifully maintained giving a feeling of what it must have been like in earlier times. Happy hour there too was lovely at the end of day, and so was the Chardonnay!

    Perfect location for Hobart Waterfront

    rating22 Feb 2026

Great location overlooking the waterfront and Park. Stayed in Park View room on 4th floor with glorious views. Room was comfortable with good seating as well. Bathroom small but perfectly fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service of room was good and not sure ever seen so many cleaners continually working in a hotel - it was heavily booked. The Lift is in middle of hotel in open area which gives great views when using but also creates more noise for rooms. Easy walk to Salamanca with many eating and drinking options available. Also some great cafes easy walk back into Battery Point. Would certainly stay again

    Over priced, and disappointing

    rating02 Jan 2026

At $500 a night you expect a pretty good experience. Most of that cost must be for the location because I don’t think we are paying that for the following:1. Shower that ranges from freezing cold to boiling hot with nothing in between;2. Almost non-existent wi-fi3. Stingy house staff who’ s pay must be proportional to how little toilet paper and soap the leave in your room4. Ordinary breakfast offering which is a once only experience, because once you try it once you won’t be back for seconds5. Basic tv with free to air channels only - really ?? For $500 a nightI recommend you try elsewhere. We stayed at Verge Launceston which was half the price and twice as good .Way over priced and not worth it. Has all the appearance of a once great hotel which has got complacent and standards slipping. Justin G, at Lenna of Hobart, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear your stay did not meet expectations.Your visit coincided with Hobart’s peak season, including Christmas, the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, and New Year’s Eve, when accommodation demand and pricing are at their highest. That said, we regret that aspects of your experience did not reflect the standard we aim to provide. We are concerned by your comments regarding the shower temperature, Wi-Fi, housekeeping amenities, and breakfast. Our Wi-Fi and televisions have recently been upgraded, and we will be reviewing your feedback with our team.Unfortunately, none of these issues were raised with our Guest Service Team during your stay. Our team is available 24/7 and would have welcomed the opportunity to assist and improve your experience in real time.We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments and apologise again that your stay fell short.

Good hotel in a great location

    rating16 Dec 2025

Second time here as we enjoyed the hotel on our last trip to Tasmania. Staff helpful as we needed to park our car earlier than our reservation time, due to an early boat trip. Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, we were near to the lift but there was no noise from that, there was noise however, mainly plumbing and movement, from the rooms next door and above us though which was quite annoying.Facilities were excellent and the location great, would be happy to stay there again if we got a different room!

Perfect setting for a family stay in Hobart

    rating09 Oct 2025

Such an amazing base for our stay in Hobart. We had the family room that had a great view of the waterfront. Enough space for us to relax at night after days spent exploring. The Chandelier bar is so cosy and a great place to unwind. Try the dirty Martini! The Lenna Sloe gin is fantastic too. Carpark is a bonus and being able to easily walk to the markets, the wharf, great restaurants and the city made this perfect location in such a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back! Thank you
