  The location is good for being near the airport around 5 to 10 min away. Tje receptionist said we could call a Uber at 4 in the morning or 10 min before which did bot work at all AND the taxi Button in the hotel which you could press and after a few minutes later the taxi was cancelled AND to call any Taxi whatever is not easy if you haven't got an Australian number!!! So if you are there just book a taxi or Uber the night before otherwise YOU WILL WAIT A LONG TIME !!! As a input for the hotel put a number from a local taxi there which all people without an Australian number also can call. As for the hotel it is good for a one night stay. It's clean the stuff is friendly.

  I booked this hotel for the night before I left Hobart because the shuttle bus from Port Arthur back to Hobart after a hike was able to drop me there. I thought I was saving money by staying there, rather than going back into Hobart for the night and then returning - however it was still a $10 airport shuttle ride (or $15 Uber), whereas the Skybus from Hobart is only $20. And staying in Hobart would have been much more pleasant. The hotel reminded me of a nursing home. Big wide corridors with trollies of linen everywhere. Everything felt cheap and clinical. The room was noisy - from the road traffic and the planes at the airport, to also fellow guests in the adjoining rooms and in the corridor. The blockout blinds need replacing. The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was so noisy I couldn’t use it. The shower head was cheap and terrible. Even the tea bags weren’t in individual packets. Rather they’d just been taken out of a box of 100. I stay in lots of hotels and have never seen this - obviously a cost saving measure, but certainly not great from a food safety standard perspective.The only saving grace was the Subway a few minutes away.

  Meh. Probably would have rating this a 2.7 if I could do fractions. The location is excellent if you are flying in/out of Hobart Airport. There's a gas station and a Subway less than a 5 minute walk way (you'll still need to drive if you want to refill your rental car :-)). The room isn't bad. The staff wasn't overly friendly and there seemed like everyone on front of me to check in had some issue that needed to be resolved.The real disappointment is that breakfast isn't open until 7am (and wasn't ready at 7am the day we left). This mean if you pay for breakfast and you have an early flight, you'll probably miss out. I hope the sign in the room suggesting cameras we being used to check for compliance with the non-smoking policy was just using left of signs that normally go in the hall, right?

  Great for overnight before/after flight departures

  2 overnight stays after early flight departure and late return. Easy checkin/checkout. Disappointing breakfast. No alternate plant milks provided, no pastries/baked goods, only 3 hot food choices and 2 varieties of cereals. With food issues and intolerances all I was able to have for breakfast was toasty and a spread. Restaurant staff seemed to lack basic hospitality skills. At breakfast, while waiting to be seated, the wait staff passed by a few times with no acknowledgement of my presence. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice to be noticed.Rooms were clean and most importantly quiet. Staff in general were helpful.

  Room good - REPAIR THE CURTAINS!

  Beds were comfortable, room was a decent size and the bathroom was clean. The major oversight was the sheer curtains that needed replacing - they were shredded in at least 5 places and this made the whole place look dingy.
