  Good location and a lovely place to stay.

  Check in was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was on the street a short walk from the hotel.There's no food or drinks on the property but there's plenty of options a short walk from the hotel.The room was fabulous, the bedroom is separate from the lounge area. The bathroom had a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen had a dishwasher, coffee pod machine and oven.The bed was comfortable and the pillows were perfect. There was no noise! We slept very well.Possibly the hardest part was finding the hotel entrance when driving in Hobart peak hour traffic.   Lovely accommodation within easy walking distance of most places of interest. Local transport close by and very cheap.Check in fast and efficient. Our room was lovely, although we had no view. Photos of room were accurate and was spotless. Everything provided, tea, coffee,milk, toiletries etc and you just needed to ask at reception if you required more. There was also soap powder for the washer/dryer which was a godsend. Sheets and towels were changed midway of our 7 night stay.The apartments do not have a restaurant or bar but Salamanca is literally 5 minutes walk with a variety of places.Checkout is 10am but reception let us stay until 12pm as our flight was late afternoon. Our luggage was stored until we left.We would highly recommend the Mantra and couldn't fault our stay.   Five minute walk to Salamanca markets through a park. Our studio room was very spacious and self contained. Clean, quiet. Couldn’t ask for more.   Very pleasant experience

  We have recently stayed at this hotel and was very pleased. We advised that we would be late arriving and staff stayed to greet us. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room. We had a separate lounge and dining area. The kitchenette was compact, but had everything we needed, plus a washer dryer which we didn’t expect. The wet room was lovely along with toiletries and clean, soft white towels. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was that it is a little walk to the shops, but close to the park, harbour and Salamanca market on a Saturday.
