Location

The resort is set on 240 hectares of serene private beach frontage on Great Oyster Bay, overlooking the granite peaks of the Freycinet Peninsula. The village restaurants of historic Swansea are only 3 minutes away from the property.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 21 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services and facilities include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry.

Rooms

Central heating ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units have a sea view. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A desk is provided. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and include a hairdryer. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the resort, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, golf, a gym, a spa, a sauna and hiking.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a dining room, a café and a bar. A fortifying breakfast is served daily. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    The best place I’ve ever stayed.

    Set in the most incredible scenic location. It wasn’t just beautiful to look at, there was something really magical and calming about it. We both felt so rested and recharged after just two nights.The cottage was very warm and cosy. The open fire and sound of the waves of a night were straight out of a dream. Everything was top quality and generous. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. The staff were incredible, happy, kind and super attentive. You could tell they actually love to work there. We ate at the restaurant for lunch and two dinners. It was exceptional. Really high quality food. My partner is gluten free and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Definitely the best place I’ve stayed. If it was anywhere else you’d pay 2k a night for that level of quality. Luckily for me I’m a Tasmanian so I will be back here as soon as possible.

    We enjoyed a delicious and very relaxing lunch here and would return in a heartbeat. We were exploring the countryside from our base at Freycinet Lodge when, by chance, we came upon Homestead Restaurant in Piermont Retreat. Stepping into the warm, sunlight-filled room we were immediately welcomed and shepherded to our table overlooking the grounds and the stunningly natural east coast landscape beyond. In the very capable hands of the front of house and chef team, our simple needs were listened to and met - flatbread and dips of hummus and goat curd followed by the butcher’s cut of flatiron beef and a side of roast potatoes accompanied by wines. Our experience was the perfect marriage of: beautiful location; quality, fresh local produce handled simply and artfully and respectfully; and brilliant service with that unique blend of professionalism and genuine engagement.     We stayed for 3 nights in a spa cottage. It was so lovely; the room facilities, comfy bed, great outlook, peaceful grounds. Luxury products provided and yummy brekky provisions.     Piermont Retreat is an absolute gem in an area of extreme natural beauty that demands attention. We were charmed by the cottage and the decor and spent a wonderful 2 nights. The restaurant is a must do for lunch and for dinner. We location is very well positioned to allow easy access to the various wineries in the region and being right on the beach we had some lovely walks. Couldn’t have been happier.     The Perfect Getaway

    The setting was peaceful and beautifully maintained, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax, reflect, and recharge. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, from the spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, bath, ocean views, kayaking, biking, private beach. Set in a secluded area and quiet area in Swansea, it's honestly one of the most stunning places I have stayed. Would recommend a sunrise kayak on the beach and the staff were super helpful.
