This hotel enjoys a quiet location, near the mouth of the Mersey River and Devonport's Bluff Beach. It offers guests a great location for touring the North West coast of Tasmania, including Leven Canyon, Stanley and Cradle Mountain. Close by there is a picturesque walking track that leads along the foreshore. The hotel is also conveniently situated only minutes' drive from both the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry Terminal and Devonport Airport.

Good place to stay following a day on the ferry. Easy out of hours check in. Not far from a lovely beach & playground.

Perfect tourist location! We spent a few days touring along the coast and inland (see my other reviews for more detail).Motel is ideally situated for Devonport Parkrun (only .5 km 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️)Motel itself is clean and so comfortable, bed is huge and the shower is amazing! Room is bigger than it looks in photos with plenty of storage and a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Tea, coffee,milk and biscuits are provided. Supermarkets eg Woolworths are within 1km.Thanks to David the manager and his team. We extended our stay we liked it so much !ps thank you for the lovely Christmas gift we were very touched by the gesture ❤️

Stayed in Spa room. Check in was easy, friendly staff. Bed comfortable. Large room with couch and TV. Microwave bought quickly upon request. Spa easily fit my wife and I, no back jets (4 each side) but was relaxing and comfortable. Great location close to shops and beach. Would stay again

Stayed here for one night before catching the ferry back to the mainland. Found this more in Booking.com and the reviews were favourable - it’s only for one night, after all. The motel is in a great location - quiet, close to the esplanade and is only a 15-20min walk from the CBD. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well appointed with a toaster and fridge - even had washing-up liquid and a tea towel. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The wifi was very reliable as well. The only reason why we’re not giving this fine place a 5/5 is because the bed was not firm enough, or mattress needed changing. The staff was very friendly and helpful - we arrived 20mins early, and this person went to the office to get us our key - even offered us an upgrade. We highly recommend this place.

Checked into this Motel for two nights today. Quite an old Motel but was greeted by Lizette in reception who was helpful, friendly and professional. What a difference it makes to be looked after by such a lovely person. Got to my room and inside it is comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Although I'm not sailing on the Spirit, this is an ideal place to stay prior to sailing. I recommend to to all people and will have no hesitation in staying here again.
