    Charming Boutique hotel

    What a beautiful boutique hotel. Located in the middle of downtown Launceston this hotel has charm and history. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. Just be aware that there are a number of stairs to navigate to get to the hotel reception and up to your room. We packed a small bag, out of our large one, rather than dragging a heavy bag up all those stairs. The receptionist was headful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. keep in mind that there is not much open on a Monday night!     Lovely room, noise issue for us.

    This is a lovely accommodation, it is on top of a fairly steep hill and the entrance is up many steps. We were on the ground floor thankfully as we had large suitcases. The reception is only manned from 9- 5.30 which could be quite limiting for some guests arriving, I am sure that they make arrangements for out of hours arrivals though? Our room was spacious, the bathroom clean and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was that when the person above us was having a shower, it sounded like a jet engine was landing in our room and seemed to go on a long time! Thankfully it was not too early. I have had to mark down for this issue. The location is good but be warned that if you go out for dinner, it’s uphill all the way back.     A federation mansion with perfect accommodation

    A beautiful and wonderfully decorated room with modern amenities. From check in to check out was a pleasant experience. Comfortable bed and luxury bedding gives you a perfect nights sleep, walking distance to city park and the city central. Parking on-site.     Luxury old world hotel in Launceston.

    An amazing hotel in the middle of Launceston with the most luxurious hotel rooms I have ever seen. Beautiful antique furniture, real old world atmosphere with modern amenities. Very clean, staff were friendly and welcoming. Close to City Park and 15 minute drive to Cataract Gorge. Only downside was carrying luggage up a lot of stairs from carpark to room but definitely worth the effort once in the room. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious Launceston stay.
