    Stayed in the disabled room couldn’t move the shower down to have a shower as it was rusted bed was uncomfortable. Went to make some toast for breakfast at about 3 am and to my surprise there was a toaster and no knife no plates no forks. No note to say to ask for them. When I handed key back was told I could have rang reception as they don’t keep them all in the room.

    A perfect place to stay near Toowoomba Hospital

    Had an excellent stay at this place. So very welcoming and clean. Shower was excellent with plenty of hot water and the beds were so comfortable. No traffic noise even though we were on a busy main street. Thank you to owners for making our stay so comfortable. Car was under cover too. If I need to stay in Toowoomba again this will be my choice. It was close to Toowoomba Hospital as that was my reason for going to Toowoomba.

    Tried to charge us an extra night that was cancelled in line with t&Cs

    I was tossing up for a while whether or not to post this but ultimately decided to as I contacted the hotel for their side of the story and was just ignored....Unfortunately we had a lot of issues with the customer service we received post our stay.We had reduced our stay by 1 night (from 3 to 2 nights) a month before our stay through a third party provider (in line with the hotels terms and conditions, it was allowed). On check in our paperwork stated a 2 night stay, so everything looked good.Upon check out we were due a refund for the third night as it was prepaid. The receptionist was unable to help us but told us she would follow up - I asked her to call us if any issues. She never did. A week later I called and was told Expedia was holding our money. We didn't even book through them. The woman I spoke to said I could contact Expedia for a refund, but they probably wouldn't give it to me. At this time the hotel took no responsibility. We followed up with who we actually booked through and they confirmed that the hotel was claiming the person who made the change didnt have authority to. This would be fine it it was corrected or communicated to us PRIOR to checking out, much less a week after leaving.There was honestly so much back and forth, even though as per their own terms and conditions we were due a refund. Thankfully after countless emails and calls to the third party we ended up being refunded - but I am not sure whether that was from the hotel or the third party just wearing the cost. As a result I could not recommend a stay here - particularly if booking through a third party. Comfort Inn Glenfield, General Manager at Comfort Inn Glenfield, responded to this review Thank you for finally posting this inaccurate record of what occurred. You made a booking through Qantas who then booked your accommodation through an overseas Agent. You paid Qantas, they paid the Agent, NOT US. We tried to explain this to you and that WE the Motel are not responsible for the refund, we you DID NOT PAY US. Please also note that to amend a booking you need to contact the Agent you dealt with to amend, this also has to be done within our booking terms, which are 24 hour cancellation/amendment time. Unfortunately this is what happens when you deal with Agents outside of Australia and not Hotels directly. There wouldn't have been any issue with the amendment and refund if it was DIRECT.In fact without us allowing the refund the overseas Agent was never going to refund you, it was because we sent more than one email on your behalf to forfeit the commission rates so that you did get a refund. Not that we expect a thankyou but an inaccurate review is a little unfair. All the best though that you know feel you have this off your chest.

    Didn’t disappoint!

    Booked at the last minute after a trip to town from the west. Nice young lad checked us in. Room was immaculate and very spacious. I liked that the towels were larger and not threadbare. The use of the dispensers in the bathroom is fabulous. The bed was very comfortable. Great to have fox channels too. Excellent location. Just a short walk for many different food choices and shops. We went to the local pub which was very busy but it had great food and ambience. All in all, a wonderful stay. Apologies for the little red wine mishap 😉 Thanks for having us. We will be back if coming this way again.

    We had a lovely time staying here. The rooams are spacious and the bathroom massive. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly. You get cutlery and crockery and a decent sized fridge. Only negative was that there was no heater in the room but honestly overall was great. Location is awesome too, very quiet but still close to everything.
