  Disappointing and expensive

  Location greatAtmosphere friendly helpful Room very tired with stained carpet worn stained furniture peeling paint some stove elements not working dishes came out of the dishwasher dirty. Very very expensive given how run down the place is. Street noise woke us up early every morning. Can’t fault the service , helpful and friendly. Amenities closed for repairs and gym not worthy of visiting.

  I had a magnificent stay at Toowoomba Central Plaza Apartments Hotel as it served as my base during a Fun Run in Toowoomba. This hotel offers Value for money.My room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds that allowed me to drift off to Dreamland. Despite it's central location, the Noise Level is minimal which makes for a comfortable stay.The central location can't be beat with nearby Restaurants, Cafes, take aways and Grand Central Shopping Centre all close by.I felt safe walking around Toowoomba during at night (as a Male). With a lively restaurant and bar/ pub scene, there are a lot of people around.Walking is very easy, very flat with no hills and traffic control lights and crossways makes it a pleasure to walk around this fin town.Coffee and Tea facilities are served in the hotel room, which is a great service offered by the hotel. Plenty of restaurants with a lot of various cuisines are just outside the Hotel Doors. There are also recreational facilities as well including an in house gym, swimming pool and barbecue area. The nearby Empire Theatre is behind the hotel and just a short 5 minute walk through the carpark.

  The cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. There was cigarette ash on the side tables, the floor wasn’t vacuumed and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. I rang reception to get someone to come to clean, they told me that no one was available.

  Way over priced for what you get. $210 for the night was $209 too much. Whilst location is great the rooms in this establishment are appalling. First of all on checking in the room smelled musty and dusty. The carpet was lifting and rippling everywhere, pubic hair on the blanket when we pulled it out of the wardrobe. 🤮 The ceiling fan/light did not work. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. When we opened the window to let in some fresh air we were greeted with the terrace from the next room ( so no privacy, they could look directly into our room and bathroom whilst we were trying to get the shower steam out of the room). The sink mixer in the kitchenette had a continuous leak so when we checked in there was water all over the counter and dripping onto the floor so we had to put a towel around it. The lift buttons don’t work properly you have to tap them 4 or 5 times to work along with the salami subway that had been dropped in the smaller lift the afternoon before and was still there the next morning. By the time we got organised and got back to the room after running our errands reception was already locked up and closed so we wouldn’t contact anyone about it.We pulled a saucepan out of the cupboard to boil some water as well and it was dirty and had burnt food still in it. We felt that we had to wash everything in the kitchen before using it just to be safe.Would highly recommend staying next door at Burke and Wills, They are worlds apart from this “Hotel”. Central apartments are 2 star at best .

  Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel!

  This hotel is DEFINITELY NOT 4 Star! Do yourself a favour and book anywhere in Toowoomba but here. The room was very old and dated. The carpets were stained and had ripples in it. The kitchen table wobbled terribly and the dining chairs were disgusting. The doors out onto the balcony wouldn't open and the kettle didn't work. When I rang reception we were offered to be changed to a new room, however we had already unpacked and had a wedding to attend so didn't have time to be packing up and changing rooms (which was on a different level) The worst part was the manager admitted that he knew the doors and the kettle were broken when we checked in! Why on earth would they offer a room when they were aware of the faults. How this hotel can claim to be 4 star astounds me. The manager said he would offer us a partial refund but low and behold still haven't heard from him 4 days later.Absolutely rude behaviour from the manager when we checked out, especially when he tried to make it look like our fault because we didn't change rooms!
