This resort is adjacent to Yallingup Beach in the heart of the state's South West region, just a short drive from Margaret River, Dunsborough and Busselton; it is ideally situated among the region's popular attractions, such as beaches, caves, forests and vineyards.

Facility

The holiday apartments were built in 1905. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe, a laundry service, a fax machine, a smoke alarm and a smoking area are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (no extra charge).

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a microwave, a tea/coffee station and a dishwasher. Other amenities include a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Some of the wheelchair-friendly rooms have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including surfing, snorkelling, diving and massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

    Great location for exploring region

    Had a great stay at Seashells Yallingup. The location is excellent for exploring Cape Naturaliste and the many wineries around the Yallingup region. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with plenty of parking available on-site. Best of all, having the Caves Hotel right next door made it easy to pop over for a drink and unwind after a day of exploring. A convenient and relaxing base for the area.     What a fantastic location. Short 15 min walk to the beach, next door to Caves Beach pub, within easy driving distance to wineries, breweries and other attractions. Tranquil surroundings, quiet area and staff were great to get some local tips & suggestions. We arrived well past check-in hours so they SMSed me a code to get the key - very easy & smooth experience.The room was huge! Certainly was not luxury, overall decor was dated & seemed to not have been renovated for quite some time however was clean and just the size of our room and balcony made the stay (5 nights) all the more relaxing. Good kitchenette allowing us to not need to eat out all the time.Only minor issue was the super-hard mattress as we're used to sleeping on a cloud-like mattress with a thick topper.I suggest visiting Ngilgi Cave (just a few minutes up the road) but it's fairly pricey at $37 entry. Also pop into Happs Winery - the only winery in Australia where the wines are on tap! And free! With 46 selections you're sure to find a wine you like.     Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Part of Caves House which has history and wonderful atmosphere. Tranquil environment, highly recommend the visit. Caves House offers meals and there is a small convenient store close by for essentials.     Lovely place , old world charm. Lots of birdlife.

    A very pleasant apartment , with a huge room and a lovely balcony. Not quite close enough to the beach to walk there , though the cove nearest was beautiful. No restaurant on site, but hotel and shop/cafe within a couple of minutes walk.We did have trouble when we arrived , as it was a Sunday and no receptionist there [ 3pm], but the nearby hotel located owner, who told us how to use the drop box [ a phone text should have been sent telling us this, but did not appear] Business Manager, Marketing at Seashells Yallingup, responded to this review Hi Judith, Thank you for taking the time to write your review.     Large, comfortable, quiet apartment with kitchen, washer, dryer. Very well maintained and fully accessible. In a bush and garden setting next to the historic Caves House which has an excellent restaurant and pub. Close to the gorgeous Yallinup beach.
