  We had a lovely stay at Austin Hotel in Baku and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel is in a prime location Nizami Street —right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants.Our room was spacious and cozy, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay.Although the hotel doesn't have an elevator, the overall experience made up for it. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. They really made us feel at home. The breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying, a nice way to start the day.If you're looking for a great value stay in a central location, with warm hospitality and comfortable rooms, Austin Hotel is a solid choice. We truly enjoyed our time there and would happily return!

  Good Location and Great Balcony

  The only good thing about this hotel is the balcony. The breakfast is not great, and although they claim to have a pool, it's really just a small tank designed to look like one—definitely not suitable for a proper swim. There are no heaters either, so don’t book this hotel expecting to enjoy a dip in the pool.The sauna is also inconvenient—you need to inform the staff 30 minutes in advance to use it. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, so you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. It’s an old property and not well-maintained.Additionally, there’s a nightclub nearby called Cecilia Club. It’s not affiliated with Austin Hotel, but I still want to warn future guests about it. The club is a scam. They tell you cocktails cost 3 manats, but then bring a bill for 30 manats. They pretend not to understand the language to get away with it.If you say you want to listen to Indian music, they’ll play a song and then charge you 50 manats just for that. Do not buy drinks for the girls at the club—they order the most expensive items, and you’ll end up with an outrageous bill.इस होटल की एकमात्र अच्छी बात इसकी बालकनी है। नाश्ता अच्छा नहीं है, और वे कहते हैं कि यहाँ स्विमिंग पूल है, लेकिन सच कहूँ तो वह कोई पूल नहीं है, बस एक छोटा सा टैंक है जिसे पूल की तरह बनाया गया है। उसमें हीटर भी नहीं है, इसलिए अगर आप पूल में डुबकी लगाने की उम्मीद से बुकिंग कर रहे हैं तो बिल्कुल न करें।सॉना इस्तेमाल करने के लिए भी आपको 30 मिनट पहले होटल को बताना पड़ता है। होटल में लिफ्ट नहीं है, इसलिए आपको अपना सामान सीढ़ियों से ऊपर ले जाना पड़ेगा। होटल काफी पुराना है और अच्छी हालत में नहीं है।इसके अलावा, होटल के पास एक नाइट क्लब है जिसका नाम है Cecilia Club। यह क्लब Austin होटल का हिस्सा नहीं है, लेकिन मैं फिर भी होटल में ठहरने वाले लोगों को इसके बारे में चेतावनी देना चाहता हूँ। यह क्लब पूरी तरह से धोखाधड़ी है।वे कहते हैं कि कॉकटेल की कीमत 3 मनात है, लेकिन बाद में 30 मनात का बिल लाकर देते हैं। वे भाषा न समझने का नाटक करते हैं ताकि आपसे ज़्यादा पैसे वसूल सकें।अगर आप कहते हैं कि आपको हिंदी म्यूजिक सुनना है, तो वे एक गाना बजाते हैं और फिर उसके लिए 50 मनात जोड़ देते हैं। क्लब में लड़कियों के लिए ड्रिंक बिल्कुल मत खरीदिए—they महंगे से महंगे ड्रिंक मंगवाती हैं और आपको बहुत बड़ा बिल भरना पड़ता है।

  Our stay at Austin hotel was not at all what I expected it to be. I will write in points to keep the review short and to the point:-The only positive is the location, it's located on Nizami street.-Hotel not suitable for elderly or handicapped people because there is no elevator and you have to climb 2 flights to stairs to reach the reception. Most of the time there's no staff to greet you as you enter the hotel.-No room service-Very restricted breakfast menu-The staff will start packing the breakfast food as soon as clock ticks 10:00 am. We faced this on one day when we came for breakfast late, by 9.30 am and we were not done eating, as were some other hotel guests, when the staff came in and started taking away the food from the buffet counter. I can understand having a strict deadline and not letting people have breakfast past the deadline, but that is why they closed the doors at 10am, why would you take away the food when people are already inside still eating?-The young guy at the reception was rude and when we confronted him about it he said it was a misunderstanding. I can go into the details but that would just make this review a big article.-The room was smelly and the air conditioning was bad.Will not recommend this hotel at all.

  I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, I had booked a Deluxe room on the 1st floor (reception floor but felt like 2nd floor). The hotel has an amazing location right at the center of Nizami street and makes it very easy to walk to Baku Boulevard and İçərişəhər (old city) . There are plenty of restaurants, ATM, markets (grocery store) and other stores nearby. You get an amazing night view from their balcony (more like a window for my deluxe room) of the golden Nizami street. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean but the housekeeping wasn't that great. The used cup and glass were poorly cleaned everyday with stains still remaining and it was still wet. I suspect it was washed nearby if you understand (((Even the towels weren't replaced properly even though I kept them on the floor ( very minimal would be replaced )The con of this room was loud nightclub music at night located right below .Some of the staff was friendly ( ex: Mr. Jamil) and helped me understand and solve any issues. While others were not very friendly and a little rude or appeared so. The breakfast was very basic - scrambled eggs and toast with a variety of raw salad, cheese, jam and cold cuts with instant coffee and hot water in the dispenser. The staff kept asking me everyday as to which room I was staying at every time I went for breakfast for the duration of my stay, which was kind of annoying. There is no elevator but they help with the luggage, but they are not always available for this.My local friend, whom I know for many years was visiting me and I had to give something to them from my luggage (I informed about this to reception earlier and assured me it's not a problem) but when they arrived, they were treated badly and somethings were implied and staff was rude to my friend at first and 20 Manat and their ID wad requested on the spot for them to even enter my room for 5 minutes. My friend got offended and explained it to me later as I had no idea why this was done. I've travelled to other countries but never seen anything like this. The staff later told me it's a security policy but they could have behaved better and not be so rude when explaining.
