    Poor customer service

    rating21 Oct 2025

Everything except the hotel staff are good. Hotel staff need training on customer service. Very rude or no understanding. Only met 1 person who is a supervisor who had some idea of how to speak and treat guests. Otherwise it was like they were doing us favour by letting us stay in the hotel. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Staff need major training on customer service

    Poor customer serviced

    rating21 Oct 2025

Writing this review as we stay here. We booked an executive suite for a triple. The location is superb as it gives access to the city and a nice view if you get a good room. We got ours changed after 2 days since we got a garden view initially on a lower floor which was boring. But later the room was on 15th which was excellent. The service however is quite bad. Staff are quite rude and rigid. They don’t seem to have training in customer service. There was only one supervisor Emin who reflected some element of satisfying our needs. We were refused to be given pillows to accommodate a triple which is 6 pillows (room only had 4) and additionally 2 extra to accommodate a medical requirement I had personally. Didn’t get it in the night, so had too speak to supervisor next morning to get the extra requirement which he understood. Overall this hotel staff don’t seem to be too keen about keeping the guests happy. If not for that negative point, hotel is quite good.

    Best Location in Baku!

    rating18 Sept 2025

We stayed for 5 days / 4 nights (Aug 19–23) as a family of three (with our 4-year-old daughter), and it was a wonderful experience overall.📍 Location:Top-notch. About 25–30 minutes from the airport. The hotel is near 28 May Station, a hub for two metro lines and a massive bus terminal, making it super convenient for getting around. Right next to it is 28 Mall for groceries, dining, and shopping. Around the hotel, you’ll also find plenty of small restaurants, cafés, and mini-markets (though some are cash-only). Two nice gardens/parks are just across the street. A 25–30 min walk brings you to the edge of Old Town and Nizami Street is just 5 minutes further. The area feels safe, quiet, and away from tourist crowds, but still close to all the action.🍳 Food:Breakfast was good and varied enough, though the menu changed only slightly during our 4 mornings. Still, everything was tasty and decent. The in-house menu is reasonably priced (cheaper than many tourist spots in Gabala), which is a big plus.🏨 Amenities & Staff:We booked a Junior Suite with a kitchen. Utensils were provided, though you need to request pans and knives.Housekeeping: Amazing. The housekeeper (sadly didn’t get her name) was super friendly—she even helped us when I got locked out on our last night.Gym & Laundry: The mini gym is small but practical (one main machine + treadmill, which needs a bit of maintenance). Very handy for late-night workouts. The laundry room is a lifesaver—up to 3 people can use it at once.Front Desk: Special mention to Leyla at reception, who kindly allowed us a late checkout (2pm) so we could rest before our 6pm flight.✅ Overall:A credible, comfortable, and practical hotel that balances convenience with peace and quiet. Perfect for families, with kind staff who go the extra mile. We’ll definitely stay here again when visiting Baku.

    Best hotel for our family

    rating07 May 2025

It was a perfect stay. Room was huge with all the amenities of a flat. Housekeeping and reception was flawless. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Our junior suit was 60sqm had refrigerator, iron, dishwasher, kettle and 2 TVs !! Location was also perfect. Airport bus just informs of the hotel and metro station 100m away.Only downside may be, street in front of hotel is bus access only, so you have to be in the next street to get on bolt/uber

    Good Choice

    rating11 Apr 2025

Parkside Hotel and Apartments boast a prime location. It is near mall 28 and the bus terminal. All sights are easily accessed by a cheap bolt ride of about 10- 15 minutes. The rooms are very large ( I booked a junior suite) which has a small kitchnette, s sitting area and a dining areas. It is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is ok though some items such as croissant, bacon and alive cooking station are missing. Moreover, the buffet area is very small. The hotel staff are polite though not very helpful. I did not like the hotel's strick rule of check in at 3:00 pm.we arrived in the moring and left our luggage at the hotel and came back at about 2:00 pm expecting the staff to be more lenient. Unfortunately, they were very strickt and insisted that we check in at 3:00 pm. It felt like torturing you and taking pleasure at that.Another aspect of the hotel I did not like is the notice in the bathroom warning you that you will get fined 500 manat ( about 300 $) if you splash water on the floor ( I have included a picture of the notice). Though the hotel's location is good, the fact that cars such as bolt taxis cannot drop you in front of the hotel is a bit annoying, especially when you have bags to carry from where the driver has dropped you to the hotel. The street where the hotel is located is a restricted area for buses.
