    Dark, damp, dingy. I couldn't see in the room to read terribly noisy, all night, early.mormings too. Location only plus point. Also try get you to pay in cash when they take card. Rude staff. Old fashioned.

    I think this might be the worst hotel that I stayed in. On arrival, despite accepting credit cards, they insisted that I pay cash. I paid half the money for five nights on arrival with a promise to pay the rest after going to an ATM next day. The hotel was terrible. It was dirty and noisy and the breakfast was very poor. I asked for a different room and they refused. I then found another hotel to move to and, when I told them this, they moved me to a supposedly quieter room for the second night. It was even noisier. Furthermore, the water to the whole hotel got cut off so I could not wash, shower or even flush the toilet. After two nights in this hotel I moved to a different one and asked for a refund of half a night's stay as I had paid for two and a half nights and stayed only two. They refused. By this time those guests who had not changed hotels during the middle of the night were now rioting in reception.

    I made reservation 2 months in advanced for triple room with 2 separate beds. When I arrived my room was not available. Passage's Manager also requested payment in cash. Instead of staying in center of the city they took me to another hotel outside of city center. That hotel also didn't accept credit cards. After staying 2 days in that hotel we decided to move to a new hotel closer to city center. Passage's manager called me and requested that I had to pay for 3 nights which I refused. That person hacked my booking.com account and cancelled my reservation in Vienna where I was planning to travel after Baku. This hotel shall never been allowed to be advertised in booking.com.

    Do not give staff your phone at check in

    The check in staff were unheloful, bordering rude and when shown to our room immediately offered an uograde if we paid more. We were meant to have a free uograded deluxe room! It was damp, dark (need a torch to read) and dingy. Fridge didn't work and wifi slow, cut off and only worked in the room.The lication is the only good thing. Enjoyed Baku and met lovely locals. This hotel marred the experience as didn't want to return. I had an uneasy feeling about them. My instincts were right. When we left, we found me and husband had given them 5 star reviews on Google when we checked in. Done by the guys working evening of 23 September. They took our phones to input the wifi code. I thought they were taking a while and asked for my phone back. I knew they'd been into stuff. Really quite shocking. The good google reviews have only ever done 1 review so it days it all that they're faking reviews. And what else are they doing on your phone!!! Stay elsewhere!!!

    Shocking Disrespect and Total Chaos – Worst Hotel Experience Ever!

    "You want a room that you don't deserve!"Yes, that’s exactly what the receptionist told us — and that alone should give you an idea of the kind of treatment you can expect at this hotel.We booked through Booking.com and received a confirmation email clearly stating our parking request. The hotel even responded to confirm that a parking spot would be reserved. But when we arrived, we were shocked to find no parking available at all. We had to search and pay for public parking ourselves.It didn’t stop there. The room we were given was completely different from what we had booked. None of the reception staff spoke English, making communication extremely difficult and frustrating.We were told to stay in a temporary room for one night and that the correct room would be ready the next day. We accepted, left our luggage at reception in the morning, and went sightseeing — trusting they would sort it out.When we returned, not only was nothing prepared, but our bags were still untouched at reception. They acted like we were new guests who had just walked in! We had to go through the check-in process all over again, only to be told there was no room available anymore.This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Miscommunication, broken promises, no accountability, and a shocking lack of professionalism or basic customer service.Avoid this place at all costs. You deserve better.
