    I had a very disappointing experience at Margaritaville, Riviera Beach Resort in the Bahamas. I arrived at 4 p.m. for check-in, but my room wasn’t ready until 5:30—after a long wait. The staff were extremely rude; I received no guidance or help whatsoever. I had to make all my own arrangements for reservations. Every time I paid for something—whether at the shop or restaurant—an automatic gratuity was added, and on top of that, I experienced disrespect and insults from some staff members. I was turned away from restaurants multiple times due to no reservations. Despite spending $3,500, plus a $1,300 deposit, I felt completely unsupported. They tried to hold my money each time I made a purchase, so I had to pay separately out of my own account. In short, I am extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and go to another resort in the Bahamas.

    Amazing Staff!

    Margaritaville Beach Resort was very nice! We purchased a private beach pass for the day which included a towel, a beach chair, and an umbrella. Unfortunately, supplies were not sufficient to accommodate the influx of people from the cruise ships. The day was hot and we had beach chairs but no umbrella. The staff was incredible; specifically, Adeline and Lakeisha. They went out of their way to make sure the quality of our stay and our online purchase agreement (Margaritaville promise) was upheld!

    We are staying at One Particular Harbor Margaritaville and are having an amazing weekend! We were able to book last minute and we were upgraded to a suite! Beautiful and clean hotel with a poolside balcony view! The staff has been quite kind and attentive. Such a relaxing resort with its own private beach, waterpark, and pool access included! There are numerous food spots on the premises and bars! I had a blackened mahi taco at the waterpark and it was awesome! Their piña coladas are amazing! Would recommend to anybody looking for a relaxing stay!     Comp Upgrade taken back without notice or option to pay for upgrade

    Was really looking forward to this trip. Booked at Margaritaville and asked for a complimentary upgrade to The Point since it was my birthday. The upgrade was given...I got an email confirming it and was so excited until I arrived to check-in and was advised that the room was reverted back to the original category. This was really deflating and I almost wanted to leave but my husband convinced me to stay. If contacted that the complimentary upgrade was no longer available and I would have had to pay I would have if given the chance. Also asked about upgrading at check-in but the agent was unable to accommodate me and advised that the resort was running 100% even though there were rooms available on the website.Hopefully the rest of my stay is okay because I was really looking forward to this birthday weekend.
