Location

This hotel is located at the heart of the historical city of Mechelen within easy reach of Brussels international airport. The beautiful cities of Antwerp, Brussels, Liège and Louvain are all to be found in the near vicinity and the E19 Brussels – Antwerp motorway and Mechelen business park lie within a few minutes drive of the hotel. An array of tourist destinations such as Planckendael Zoo, the famous toy museum and the Technopolis science centre in which visitors may learn about all aspects of science and technology, are to be found in and around the city of Mechelen.

Facility

The hotel has 43 non-smoking rooms, including 10 single rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by a lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe are available.     If you are looking to find an ok place to stay its differently worth considering, if the location fits your needs. The room was dark and there was only one power socket in the room - far from the bed. The products in the bathroom seemed to be topped up with water. Breakfast was nice.     Very underwhelming hotel. Tired decor, furniture and facilities.     Awful hotel. Outdated and in great need of an update!Parking is dangerously tight.Do not pay for the breakfast, there are plenty of lovely places in the area to eat.They claim is famous but not sure for what. There is no choice. Food is undercooked, and definitely not worth the money they charge.I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.     Good hotel for a one night stopover, great staff, they were very helpful, good to have car parking on site.     Too expensive for service and quality providedNo A/C within room !!!!!!! (A/C within coridor and certain room but it seem to be handy made)Capex of coridor very dirty and stink !!!!!Bad odor witihn cordidorBathroom was dirty (and rest of pils on sink), no showerRoom not well insulated from other room and external noiseNot recommended for people who are afraid of horror movies. Extremely noisy hotel with very poor soundproofing. Dirty and extremely dilapidated room.
