    Big rooms, but moldy and out dated

    My family of five recently stayed here for one night. We had a reservation for more longer however when we checked into our room there was mold on the walls and in the shower ceiling. My daughter has a bad allergy to mold so we could not stay any longer. Reading other reviews it seems this place may have some updated rooms but the one we received was not that. It was a spacious room and had 4 beds .     Convenient and practical for visiting central Rio

    Location was handy for the city and buses. Supermarkets nearby. Breakfasts were excellent. Staff were attentive and thorough. Room was basic but had a good shower, single seat, fridge and tv. Disappointingly our room had a damp patch on the ceiling which made the room smell musty. A friend in another room had no such problem. Relaxing roof trrrace. Given how cheap the room was we felt it represented good value for money.
