    Work hard, lounge harder!

    Coming to Rio to work is almost a crime, but staying at the Emiliano makes up for it. This is one of my favorite hotels in the world. The views (if you can get them) of the beautiful Copacabana beach are beautiful. Even when you look to the inside of the room, they make up by a beautiful ambiance: sweet scents, relaxing lighting, and a magical bathtub. A quiet room to get your work done, and a fantastic rooftop pool to wind down. PS - the best thing was always getting the sweetest welcome after a day at work!     Small hotel, but in a great location.

    Location wise, you can't fault this place, but I still felt a bit shortchanged - the lobby wasn't great - and neither was my room! I don't think I got the full hotel experience that business travel gets you.This is a small hotel, just bear that in mind.     Great place to stay in Rio right on the beach

    The hotel position is right between Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the hotel has an outstanding top floor lounging area with a plunge pool and the best view of any hotel I have so far stayed in.The staff are awesome! They are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble - also I have never seen so many staff. I would only mention Augusto. So helpful and happy to see usThe beach facing room was large with all the facilities that anyone could require with a good wide bed but the bedroom carpet was a little tired and in need of either a thorough clean or replacement.The wet room shower and bath area had the water drainage area unfinished and unnecessarily, really ugly but everything worked efficiently The Toto Japanese toilet was great!!!!Food in the restaurant was nicely presented but pretentious and tended to be expensiveHowever, all in all, a lovely stay Hotel_Emiliano, at Emiliano Rio, responded to this review Dear,We thank you for your comments and we will always be at your complete disposal.We hope to welcome you again soon.Yours sincerely,Emiliano Team

    I was really impressed with my stay at Emiliano on this trip. The staff were amazing - the reception team (particularly Fabrizio) were very welcoming, friendly and so helpful but honestly, this was the case for everyone I came across. They really made me feel welcome. The communication was excellent, I arrived early and the team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome until the room was ready. The room was lovely, spacious and so very clean. Breaking was delicious, amazing service. I loved the beach service too. Very good value for money.     Fabulous accommodation…. Eat elsewhere!

    The rooms were lovely and were very clean, however food in the hotel was very expensive and not nearly as good quality as local restaurants where you can get excellent, high quality food for a fraction of the price. The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly and could not do enough for us. My top tip would be to decline the tour guide recommended by the hotel… he was excellent but we paid nearly $1,000 AUD for the day which we were shocked by. Our own fault really as we were informed of the hourly rate, but we lost track of time as the guide was very careful to make sure we spent as much time with him as possible. In summary, would definitely stay in Emiliano… a beautiful hotel and fabulous location, but eat elsewhere and source a more reasonable tourist guide yourself.
