    Practical hotel, close to the airport

    This was a base for our local family wedding. It was our first time in Brazil and none of us spoke Portuguese but some of the reception staff did which was a big help. The rooms were modern and clean. The only negative being the noise from the night club next door. The breakfast was good with enough choice.     Filthy rooms, unprofessional, rude staff, horrible breakfast, noisy, in a horrible area in the middle of nowhere, if you ever think of staying here just flush your money down the toilet, it'll be a better use of it.     Downsides were that we had a long (over half hour) wait when we arrived at 2.30am to get our room, also there was some noise from the rowdy local bar/music venue across the street however it wasn't overwhelmingly loud. Other than that no complaints - the buffet breakfast is great, the shower is good, A/C. A taxi from GIG airport cost us 80 reals. Was a good stopover for us for one night.     Booked room was not the one offered. We were simply too tired to argue ( after long and stressful driving). We asked for refund still waiting. Breakfast ok, but bad items reposition. Fresh squeezed juice not really tasteful.
