    A View with Its Own Tariff

    In Rio de Janeiro, expectations come naturally — one is, after all, in one of the world’s most spectacular settings.I stayed here briefly for business. The location is outstanding, right next to Santos Dumont Airport, with views of the runway and, as a bonus, Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer. The complex also includes a shopping mall and good restaurants.Reception was friendly and attentive, refreshingly informal. Rooms are compact yet functional and comfortable, with soft linens and a modern bathroom.Breakfast is good and consistent with Brazilian hotel standards. The true highlight is the rooftop setting, offering spectacular views.One small note: any additional privilege — even a better window within the same category — comes at a price. In Rio, it seems, even the view has its own tariff.In short: superb location, efficient comfort and unforgettable scenery — properly priced.     Good, but not for a long stay

    An airport hotel that serves its purpose - short stays. The fact there’s a mall downstairs helps specially the restaurants. However, everything else is far away. Not a place for tourists. The room is small and very dark, depressing! There is a nice rooftop with a view where breakfast is served.
