    Our whole experience from the time we arrived was exceptional. The staff were friendly and only too happy to help. The food choices were great and Edwardu makes a mean cocktail. Mari on reception was also super helpful in helping organise taxi services around the city. Giovanni our taxi driver had a lot of knowledge of where to go and organised ours days. He is highly recommended as a tour guide with his local knowledge and very friendly. We were made to feel welcome and could communicate easily even though we spoke English.     Excellent service by reception staff and bartender (Pedro). Very good meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms comfortable and serving its purpose ( Clean place to sleep). Commendable how much they have changed in the past year... Some basic points to improve on: 1) The rooftop furniture (cushions included) not dried and when used clothes are all wet.     Italo did the best drinks at the bar. Very kind service!I can recommned Italos drinks.He did an amazing job it we're about 10 guests and he could serve for all. Funny and positive vibes! If you got some extra wishes he can solve it.     Good location in Barra Da Tijuca. Good breakfast with variety. Hotel needs major renovation! Doesn't reflect poorly on Housekeeping at all! Regardless of how much cleaning is done, the stains and dirt are permanent! All the employees especially Dilma, Raquel and Kitty were amazing!     Raquel and Victor were fabulous at the front desk. They attendee to my every need helped me with excursions and tours as well as purchasing items on line.
