    I had a few doubts before arriving due to some negative reviews. But, believe me, these reviews were wrong.I stayed there from Decembere 14th till December 23rd.It is a perfect place to stay offering a few things that hotels in the States and Europe do not.The breakfast is included, the bedlinens and all towels are changed every day. The floors are clean; you can bare feet walk on them.They have a fridge and safe in the room.Ther desk is most forthcoming, the "bellboy" is excellent. Everybody is most educated and very courteous.I had a wonderful experience and plan to be back there in the future.One tip: pay a little more and get a room overlooking the beach.I recommend it heartly, but be aware it is not a five star hotel, but excellent.

    Filthy and falling apart

    This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The floor is disgusting, you can’t take off your shoes. There was a lot of hair trapped in the shower plughole and the bathroom stinks. The walls and the door are covered in mould. I arrived late at night so couldn’t go somewhere else, unfortunately. Now I’m writing this review hoping the patchy internet will work. Tomorrow I’ll find another place. I hope I can get my money back.

    We stayed here for a week based on a friends recommendation and were very satisfied with this hole. It was clean, good friendly service from staff at front desk, on the floor and in the restaurant. This is a relatively safe neighborhood for Rio. Also, one block from a street full of a good variety of restaurants.

    The location is great, just cross the street and enjoy the ocean or walk 6 minutes and enjoy the promenade “rua olegario maciel” at this street you will find the typical “cariocas night life style” or you can end the beach time and have a draft beer in the evening at olegario maciel (try picanha) Go check out! If you are at the hotel.The hotel need some renew on paint, bed sheets are old, air conditioner need to be replaced.The way that my room was present to me it was like some motel 6 without the cigarettes smells.Breakfast was good.The staff also was great.

    Its location is perfect! in front of the beach and 5 min walk away from restaurants and bars.Breakfast is very good, the hotel is nice and rooms are very comfortable! with english channels TV which we loved.Wifi works perfectlyI recommend it
