    ATM in hotell is a Rip off

    The hotel offer an ATM ”service” (as expressed by the manager” for foreigners but beware as they charge 15-20% in comission! 😰 not a service, more like a rip off.     We paid for early check in and had requested no feathers due to feather allergy. We had to ask 2 times to get the pillows changed. We traveled for 13+ hours and paid for early check in but was unable to take a nap because of the feather pillows.     Horrible customer service

    Horrible customer service. Was told our lunch was complimentary by Raquel in the Italian restaurant. She walked us over to lunch buffet and told hostesses our lunch was comped. Upon leaving buffet, we were told we had to pay. After much arguing, I went and got Raquel to admit that she said our lunch was free. At checkout, the front desk made us pay. Diego Dimitri would not accept the fact that we were given incorrect information. He should have owned up to the fact that his employee made a mistake.     Affordable hotel near Cidade das Artes

    The hotel was affordable and with friendly staff. I stayed for 4 days. The breakfast buffet includes a wide range of international and Brazilian dishes. Fresh fruits, hot beverages and juices are served at the buffet. There are no coffee machine or kettle in the rooms and you will have to bring your own adapter as they do not have sufficient adapters at the front desk. The hotel is a 3 minutes walk from the beach and there are several restaurants nearby. There are also several food vendors by the beach. It is 10 minutes by Uber to Barra da Tijuca and Cidade das Artes if you are staying here for meetings.     Staff team are only there to make the visitor uncomfortable. It’s the term, visitor is a hostage at the hotel. Constructions all over. Noises, everything bad you can think of, you can find it at this hotel.
