  Terrible customer experience

  I'll start by saying that I made a reservation for a vacation in January, which I later had to cancel (I had the right to a 30-day period to get the full amount paid back). That's how the ordeal began, I called several times on the phone, being told that the person would contact the accounting department to find out what was going on, I sent emails to addresses that turned out to be outdated on the hotel's website. I never received any feedback for 3 months. I decided that I would file a complaint with the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Agency, which came out with an opinion that my money should be returned. Alas, 2 months later, this has still not happened. I also took legal action, so let's see. Absolutely no customer service! I absolutely do not recommend!

  No great breakfast is awful wouldn't recommend

  Stayed here for a few nights in ski season, the rooms were ok but small, breakfast was awful! Really poor coffee machine constantly broken, the actual food was not good and two of the party got poorly.The facilities on paper looked good but what we found was the hot tubs were dirty and cold! All that was needed was for the fires to to lit and kept lit during the day.The staff were ok but quite rude specifically the male who worked in the restaurant area. I personally won't be going back and will find somewhere else for my next visit.

  I’ve been to Borovets many times and this is by far and away the best hotel I’ve stayed in. The hotel itself is gorgeous and in an amazing location 2 mins walk from the gondola. The room was big, comfortable and really well decorated. Service was spot on as was breakfast every day. The outdoor hot tubs and also steam room and sauna were the perfect end to a day snowboarding. I honestly can’t fault this hotel, my only hesitation in writing this review is I feel like it’s currently an undiscovered gem and I don’t want it to get so popular I can’t get booked in next year.

  A great, rustic hotel in a brilliant location.

  Stayed with a group of 8 adults across 4 rooms for a ski trip. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable having recently benefited from a refurb, albeit very small. We had breakfast included in our rate, which was cooked fresh to order. This was basic, but when combined with a freshly ground coffee was a good start to the day! We enjoyed the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi too, although the floor around the jacuzzi was very icy and slippery.. not that they could do much about that! Location wise, Breza couldn’t be much better! It’s about 5 minute from the Rila/chair left side and 3 mins from the Gondola. We got a great rate by booking early and this is reflective in my review. I think if I’d paid £100+ a night it would score lower. Staff were friendly, but spoke minimal English.

  НЕ ПРЕПОРЪЧВАМ! / NOT RECOMMENDED!BGХотелът и персоналът са пълен потрес. Ще бъда подробен, защото няма смисъл да си губите парите за нищо.1. Запазвам стая за петима, която намирам на сайта на хотела. Обаждам се да питам дали диванът, който виждам на снимката е добър за голям човек, при което ми бе потвърдено, че да, но щяло да ни е тясно. Това не ни бъркаше и резервирах през сайта.На датата на настаняването става ясно, че парите не са изтеглени или дори блокирани в сметката, с готовност да се плати на датата. Платих в брой, ПОС терминалът не работеше. Влизаме в стаята - нищо общо със снимките. Всички снимки, които виждате са само рекламни. Също така ни казаха да запазим допълнителна стая за петия човек, защото диванът бил малък и нямало как да спи там. Разбира се, ако беше стаята от снимките щеше да е удачен и получих пълно отрицание за предварителното потвърждение с настояване за плащане на допълнителна стая.2. След настаняването, леглото на жена ми пропада - подматрачната рамка се разглоби под нея. Бременна е и беше чист късмет, че се размина без наранявания.Дадоха ми ключ за друга стая за нас двамата, влизам да тествам леглата първо преди да съм преместил багажа и същата работа - едно от двете легла остана на пода след като го натиснах само с ръце. Не знам какъв късмет изкарахме с третата стая, където леглата бяха поносими. За сметка на това пък душ слушалката и питата не работеха, но вече нямаше смисъл да го споменаваме, тъй като нямахме търпение да си тръгнем.3. РесторантътИмайки предвид грандиозните цени в курорта, храната, която ресторантът предлага е под всякаква критика. Сервитьорът и рецепционистът се опитват да сервират и да готвят в кухнята, понеже готвачът "бил пиян и си тръгнал в 20 ч.". Съответно чакането е огромно дори за напитки (20-30 минути), основно (60-90 минути), и палачинки с шоколад за 10 лв. (добавка сирене се доплаща 5 лв. на палачинка) около 40 минути и идват студени.Ресторантът дори не беше пълен и видяхме как хора бяха връщани дори преди 20 ч. с думите, че кухнята е затворила (а навсякъде си пише, че е до 22 ч., уж).На закуска се дава меню с осем (8) опции за избор, при което се казва, че може да се избира всичко без "5, 6, 7 и 8". Порциите са като за малки котета, а зеленчуците в тях като за прасета.НЕ ПРЕПОРЪЧВАМ! По-добре идете на пълна мизерия за без пари и си гответе сами - ще си изкарате сто пъти по-добре.ENThe hotel and staff are a complete shock. I will be detailed because there is no point in wasting your money on nothing.1. I reserve a room for five, which I find on the hotel's website. I call to ask if the couch I see in the picture is good for a tall person, to which I am told yes, but it would be tight for us. This did not bother us and I booked through the website.On the date of check-in, it becomes clear that the money has not been withdrawn or even blocked in the account, ready to be paid on the date. I paid in cash, the POS terminal was not working. We enter the room - nothing to do with the pictures. All photos you see are for promotional purposes only. We were also told to reserve an extra room for the fifth person because the couch was small and he couldn't sleep there. Of course, if it was the room in the pictures it would have been fine and I got a complete negative on the pre-confirmation insisting on paying for an extra room.2. After check-in, my wife's bed collapsed - the mattress frame came apart under her. She is pregnant and it was sheer luck that she escaped without injury.They gave me a key to another room for the two of us, I go in to test the beds first before I moved the luggage and same thing - one of the two beds stayed on the floor after I pushed it with just my hands. I don't know how lucky we were with the third room where the beds were tolerable. On the other hand, the shower handset and the pita were not working, but there was no point in mentioning it anymore, as we were eager to leave.3. The restaurantConsidering the spectacular prices at the resort, the food that the restaurant offers is beyond criticism. The waiter and receptionist are trying to serve and cook in the kitchen because the chef "was drunk and left at 8pm". Accordingly, the wait is huge even for drinks (20-30 minutes), mains (60-90 minutes), and pancakes with chocolate for BGN 10 (extra cheese is charged BGN 5 per pancake) about 40 minutes and they come cold.The restaurant wasn't even full and we saw people being turned away even before 8pm saying that the kitchen had closed (and everywhere it says it's until 10pm, supposedly).At breakfast, a menu is given with eight (8) options to choose from, where it is said that anything but "5, 6, 7 and 8" can be chosen. The portions are like for small kittens, and the vegetables in them are like for pigs.I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Better go to complete misery for no money and cook yourself - you will have a much better time.
