Location

This hotel enjoys a fantastic location on the main promenade in the very heart of Sunny Beach. The superb beach is just 50 m away, as are the nearest bars, restaurants and shops. It is 200 m to links to the public transport network and the tourist centre is 500 m away. Burgas Airport is 30 km from the hotel.

Facility

29 junior suites, 29 apartments, 36 single rooms and 166 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry, a page service, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. Some rooms offer a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a microwave. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex, which includes 2 outdoor and indoor pools, is ideal for exercise and active relaxation. Little swimmers can splash around in the children's swimming area. A waterslide and a refreshing drink at the poolside snack bar offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, bocce, beach volleyball, crazy golf, archery, fishing and horse riding. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy windsurfing, snorkelling and diving. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including table tennis, billiards, darts, bowling, squash, yoga and aerobics or, for a fee, a gym. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a steam bath and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music, a dance club, a casino and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner offer many delicious options. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    We had a trip from 16.9 to 23.9. We understand that it is the end of the season - on 23.9 there was breakfast but all the employees started cleaning up in the restaurant next to us, hiding things etc. From the beginning no one told us that there would be no lunch or dinner on the day of leaving and that the hotel would close at 12:00. Btw, Our flight was at 23:00. They did not allow anyone to leave their suitcases in the hotel because the hotel closed at 12:00. They promised us that we could leave our suitcases in another hotel but in my opinion they stole one day from this trip. We have to be out almost the whole day, we have to arrange our food somewhere. It is not about money but about respect to people.

    Upon arriving at hotel we got early check in room was lovely but as soon as night came it was like a night club in the room I complained and was moved straight away the next morning with no problem, the food wasn’t great but always found something to eat even my 5 yr old wasn’t hungry, the staff were absolutely lovely couldn’t fault any of them apart from miss trunchbull monitoring the restaurant but maybe it’s a cultural difference. The pools were clean and tidy and animation team did a good job only problem was finding a sun bed as usual people leave towels and don’t come back for hours at a time. Overall we enjoyed the stay I personally wouldn’t come back to Bulgaria not because of the locals but the other nationalities that were there my son was saying hello and trying to make friends and people just were not friendly but again maybe a different culture thing but he couldn’t understand why they would be that way. It’s nice to be nice after all.

    Basically avoid this hotel I never write a review but this hotel the worst I’ve stayed in noise is unbelievable all night the food horrendous ate out every meal , pools missing tiles cut toes , not an English hotel only us English just avoid at all costs

    Avoid this hotel and area if travelling with family. Exotic dance bar next to Alba hotel and our family had to witnessed the multiple men coming and going. There are multiple sex shops in the area. We checked into our sea viewroom and it was like you were in a nightclub due to the noise of the bars and amusement park outside. Hotel manager was good and moved us to the other side of the hotel the next morning. The restaurant food was just about warm and not labeled well. We did not enjoy the food at all at Alba. Rooms were ok but bathroom needs updating. The bed was comfortable, staff came in most days and changed towels/bedding. The swimming pools need repairs to the tiles. I reported to reception about my daughter cutting her knee on a loose tile and perhaps maintenance needs to check this out. My response was just ‘’ok’’ not asking how my daughter’s knee was. Evening entertainment is not great and daytime was ok. We did not use the kids club so cannot comment on this.We found sunny beach overall not very nice for families. What made our holiday was being with a good group of friends, I would not be returning to sunny beach.
