Location

This hotel is located in the south part of Sunny Beach, the largest Bulgarian resort. Being only 50 m from the sandy dunes and 300 m away from the beach, the hotel is in an ideal location for watersports lovers. It is set in quiet surroundings, situated 1 km away from the resort centre where there is a bus station and a tourist centre. Bourgas Airport is approximately 35 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 18 junior suites, 3 single rooms and 99 double rooms located in a 4-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. In the air-conditioned hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel doctor.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. The hotel has family rooms and 120 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton and darts or, for a fee, billiards. A wellness area with a spa provides a great opportinity to unwind after a long day. Additional services available for a fee include a sauna and massage treatments

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very nice staff!

The stay was overall very nice, we enjoyed the pool, spacious room with terrace and also there was a very nice staff, always ready to help. What we didn't enjoy much was the food. Mainly the lunch and the dinner. The food didn't taste so good and it was also often a poor quality. But overall the stay was very nice and we enjoyed it, so if you are not picky about a food, I definatelly recommend a visit.

We have been to Bulgaria Sunny Beach several times, we like the beach and the sea there. This time, for the first time, we stayed at Kavkaz Golden Dune Hotel. I mean we were very, very pleased. The location is great, very close to the sea, just a 5 minute walk. The food is fresh and well prepared. We really liked the included wine. One of the best things about this hotel is the cleanliness, the rooms, the pool, the restaurant everything is sparkling clean. We will go back there again.

The hotel is very clean 100% and room nice and clean ,fresh towel everyday, shower great nice and hot.THE BIGGEST FAULT IS THE FOOD AND DRINKS.I have traveled 29 countries and try all food,I am not a fussy eater by any means but there is a limit to what you can serve up every day, pork everyday chicken everyday ,pasta everyday NEVER ANY LAMB OR BEEF.it's always cold pasta is overcooked pork is turned into burgers if not eaten at lunch ,chicken is cook in steamer I think no taste looks repulsive. SO BREAKFAST. Now there is a treat,the fried eggs are in tray of oil cook 20 at a time put on dish and left to get cold ,the scrambled eggs didn't look nice but we're ok .No complaints about mushrooms or hard boiled eggs .the bread and rolls were fresh .Only 1 bowl fruit of each type but people are greedy and take all accept a couple of pieces then never eat and they have to put in bin.The cakes were limited to 2 types no dry biscuits and the cheese was left out to long after being cut.Salad was varied and nice and fresh ,the chips were not fresh and cold and the sauce or soup was disgusting.I did ask the question of various staff about the food and they said that's how they cook and how you get it but if I want I can heat up in microwave if I want.The coffee machine is switched off at 10Am precisely on the dot,but you can go outside 1 second after 10 and get one ,I asked why not keep machine on they said it's the way they do things.Alcohol is disgusting for an all exclusive hotel and they only serve Bulgarian whisky gin vodka or a type of pernod , the beer is same every where you go.They do not do cocktails like Irish coffee or Bailies or mint cocktails.No one in hotel as far as I know enjoyed the bar drinks in fact lots of guests went out and bought there own alcohol and drank at bar or table.I can see why they sell paint stripper to guests because it saves them money that we have payed up front. AND THE BAR CLOSES AT 10 PM PROMPT You cannot take any drink to your room unless it's in a plastic ,ok I understand that but they give you 2 glasses in your room for drinks.The staff are not friendly or even happy in there job .IF THE FOOD AND DRINKS WERE BETTER I WOULD GIVE IT A GOOD RATING BUT I WILL GIVE IT A 5 OUT OF 10 JUST FOR HOTEL ALONE.Oh and last thing the pool is nice ,clean and in right spot ,but the bar is abismal ,

A Great Hotel with a Great Location

We just spent a week at Sunny Beach and took Kavkaz Golden Dune as our hotel. All of the hotel staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. Most of the ones with public facing jobs spoke English to one degree or another.All meals were of buffet type and a good range of food was on offer at all meals. The hotel restaurant has both indoor and outdoor sections so you can eat outdoors when the weather is nice.The hotel's pool is small, but quite nice. The pool rules are reasonable and easy to follow. Keep in mind that the pool does not have a lifeguard so children should not go there unattended.All public areas of the hotel were very clean and inviting. Our room was also clean and comfortable.The real plus of this hotel is its close proximity to Sunny Beach. In fact, the beach is just across the street and short walk from the hotel's doorstep.The only thing negative about our stay, and it certainly is not the fault of the hotel, was that the view from our balcony (room 312) was of a dirty and disused swimming pool and recreation area. However, a quick look at a map showed that pool to belong to a neighbouring property. As such, there may be little the Kavkaz can do about it.In spite of that last detail, I have no trouble recommending Kavkaz Golden Dune as a good place to stay at Sunny Beach.
