    Lovely pool, great air con, good breakfast, fab location

    This is a good place to stay. Great location near beach. Breakfast's really nice, out on terrace by pool. Pool nearly always empty which was great for us. Lovely to relax by pool with a drink and then jump in whenever we were too hot. Nice family atmosphere.Evening meal was OK but it's only served between 6and 7pm so it's prob worth eating out as there are plenty of places nearby. Staff don't clean your room, or make up your bed, and it wasn't very clean to start with, but we've learnt this is usual in Bulgaria.Aircon was amazing!!!

    Hello everyone! Rested with the child age 4 years, from June 21 to July 2. We really liked the hotel, clean and bright. Special thanks to the staff! I didn’t see such care about guests. A very nice guy works at the hotel's restaurant. He always played with my child, unfortunately didn’t ask his name, wanted to express his special gratitude to him.It should be noted that the restaurant was tasty. I attach photos to my response. We had a room 401 sea view. Once again, many thanks to the hotel staff for our wonderful vacation.Best regardsLiakhmanova Larisa

    Good location - an interesting15 minutes walk into the old town, through restaurants, bars and tourist shops. The staff were lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. Nice size clean rooms with a balcony and we had a sea view.BUT this hotel really needs to raise it's standards- there were no mattress covers and the bottom sheet was smaller than the bed so you were sleeping on a couple of inches of bare mattress all around.Also, maybe it is just because it is not what we are used to, we found the breakfast poor. Plenty of cucumber, tomatoes etc. Cereal but not always any milk, no juice or cold drinks at all. Bread that was small so that you could not get it back out of the toaster, fruit which had gone bad, and the water bath that kept the hot food hot was filled with dirty cloudy water which actually smelt.Having said that, as there were only two of us we simply abandoned breakfast and you could eat everywhere very, very cheaply so it was not a problem. A large banana and chocolate crepe, prepeared in minutes at any of the street booths was just 3 lev (£1.50) and made a delicious breakfast

    The Apolis is a clean no thrills hotel with large comfortable rooms and a balcony.The fridge was next to useless but that's the only criticism really.We had breakfast which was help yourself standard affair of hot and cold choice.The staff were friendly and helpful.The pool is small and i think unheated,but the temperature is so warm even in September,this is no problem.There are apartments in the lovely old town if you wanted to avoid the more brash side of Sozopol,that said its only a 15 minute slow walk through the beach restaurants and shops to get to the old town.

    Nice and small hotel near the beach. There is small pool with nic, cold water. The best rooms are on 1st and 2nd floor. Typical bulgarian cousine, good and taste. About hajf hour to old Sozopol, one of that world places which U must visit!
