    I had a great two-day business stay at Ramada Plovdiv. The service was excellent, and I really appreciated the attention to every detail, the nice room, and the thoughtful compliments in it.The hotel is perfect for business visitors, with a business center and conference rooms. The location is also great, within walking distance of all the main places in Plovdiv.I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable business stay.

    Very nice notable stay as always at Ramada

    I am an elderly disabled lady travelling alone and have stayed in several Ramada hotels. The staff were very helpful and everything was clean yesterday there were stains on the carpets but I've seen worse. The buffet breakfast was fine apart from the eggs which were either boiled or scrambled but I did ask one of the waiters for fried eggs and these were brought to my table. My disabled room was a short walk to the lift but only one was working but as the hotel didn't seem to be busy this wasn't a problem and the room and bathroom were cleaned every day. The dinners I had were of good quality and well cooked I was even escorted into the main dining room and given a bell to ring when i had finished eating but only wanted a light dessert which didn't seem to be on the menu but was offered ice cream and fruit which was very good.My only complaint was that the spa was unavailable until April so I didn't get the massage I was hoping for. Overall the staff were very helpful and even helped me to get to the lift and got me the things I wanted.

    This is a disaster. Very old, dirty and cold place. there were no covers on the beds and the pillows were made of rags. extremely rude and unprofessional staff. the air conditioner only worked for cooling - in January. Extremely dirty, poorly maintained and run down place.

    The worst hotel I've ever been to

    ​ We arrived at 3 p.m and we had to wait more than 30 min for our room which wasn't cleaned yet. This is 1.5 h after the hotel check-in time. The receptionist simply didn't want to be there. After I said that I have a work meeting at 4 p.m and just wanted to check how long this will take he didn't even made an effort to contact the cleanning team and see how long it will take. After we asked to speak to the manager twice he appologised and upgraded our room. Him and the housekeeping lady were the most adequate in this hotel.​The reception's team needs to get some additional training. Lack of competence, customer approach and care.​The hotel smells like a mixture of cigarrettes, food and piss. There are big dirty spots all over the red carpets in the corridors it looks like someone got murdered in there. This combined with the dimmed lights it's giving a horror movie vibes.​Old furniture in the room, bad smell, dirty toilette (there was someones pubic hair on it) and a shower cabin.​Housekeeper came to clean the room at 3:30 p.m even though I called at 1:30 p.m to ask if someone can just come to change the towells and empty the bins. The lady who arrived was very polite and did a great job.​The breakfast was poor and made with a low quality products.​On the Saturday the bar on the last floor was working and it felt like they were singing in our room. We were on the 4th floor and the bar was above us.​On the website it says there is a spa centre and a gym but in reallity they are not working.​So basically you pay more than 100 euros a night to feel like you are in a hostel. This is defo not how a 4 star hotel has to feel and look like.
