    Great Boutique Hotel With History

    This was a very nice boutique, hotel with friendly staff and great location! The history in the lower level was incredible, the old Roman baths that they discovered while renovating the building. A nice breakfast is included each day. I would stay here again if ever back in the area.

    Excellent hotel in perfect location for foreigners visiting Plovdiv. They did everything right and for a very reasonable price. Villa Flavia is located on the edge of both the Old Town and Kapana, offering a variety of experiences with an easy walk from the hotel. And the staff was over the top, all employees! They took care of us no matter what we needed. And the nice breakfast buffet kept us going into the day. Highly recommended!

    I highly recommend it.It is always a pleasure to stay at Villa Flavia. The staff is welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast is delicious and will satisfy even the most demanding guests. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. The location is excellent and convenient for exploring the area. I highly recommended.

    There is very little I can add to those who have reviewed Villa Flavia on here and totally agree with all that they have written about it.Couple of things I would say are: lot of attention to details, like the safety alarm in the bathroom, the umbrella bin at the main entrance so you can use one when it's raining (and it rained a lot when I was there!), to the high quality and variety of the dishes and ingredients of the breakfasts.What made it for me though were the staff - warm, welcoming, informative, care and pride in the hotel and their work, with close attention to requests etc. I cannot praise them all too highly.Only slight "niggle" is that at the weekend it's a buffet breakfast and the hot dishes were often cold so could benefit, I suggest, from a bain marie, and that during the week you order your hot main breakfast menu the day before so it can be prepared fresh, which is great, but often brought out too early when I arrived for breakfast so got cold whilst I was eating my cereal.One great thing for me about the breakfasts was that they serve pancakes - but "proper" crepes and not the round, fairly thick American-style pancakes which most hotels serve.
