Not the service you would expect...

Very bad. No attention to detail. They ghost clients and won't bother providing a response whatsoever. Definitely not 5 stars.

So much is wrong with this place

    rating12 Dec 2025

So much wrong is with this place that I don't even know where to begin. This is 3* at best. No way this gets anywhere close to 5* and be comparable to Grand Hotel Millennium, Intercontinental or Hyatt. I stayed there one night on business. Arrived late and asked for iron and ironing board as I had business dinner in the evening. I was told that the hotel does not provide that and if I wanted something ironed I should go back 7am and pay someone to do it for me. Meanwhile I had to go to dinner with unironed shirt. Even 3 star hotels have irons available. Incredible....Second, the room (102) had no thermostat and the temperature could not be adjusted from within the room, neither up nor down. It was cold during the night and there was nothing I could have done. Third, no hairdryer in the room. Seriously?Fourth, no TV signal. See the attached. I gotta say that the staff were very friendly and are not responsible really for this mess!I would not go back there if they paid me. Business travellers BEWARE. Go to the other 5* hotels in the city.

    Great potential

    rating28 Nov 2025

In general, could say that the hotel preferred art over comfort, but it's still pleasant to be in it.Sculptures and artistic paintings throughout the entire hotel, including the roomsA bit feels like staying in a gallery. The staff we encountered throughout our stay was courteous. When we arrived, the receptionist explained a number of important things about the hotel, but there was no written explanation. We didn’t check if the pool and gym was indeed free as she told us, other reviews mentioned that there was a fee. Our room was in the new wing, which is confusing to find among the corridors, and the tiny elevator, with 5 rooms on each floor. The rooms are the size of a small apartment, beautiful, huge and comfortable bed, a lot of space in the cabinets, mini fridge with some snacks and drinks, but this is where the 5-star feeling ends; there were no available power outlets, only one usable power outlet, next to the bed. To use the coffee machine, we had to unplug the fridge, and macchine wasn’t working properly, besides that, only 3 white sugar packets. The air conditioner was noisy, some of the lights didn’t work. The water flow in the bathtub was good but it wasn’t designed well enough to get shower without getting the floor all wet, inside the bathtub there is a shower gel that is supposed to function as shampoo. There were sticky stains on the TV dresser, but other than that the room was clean. In the beautiful hallway, water damage really spoiled its nice appearance. The so-called attached casino is just a row of slot machines. The hotel’s restaurant is only open for two hours in the evening, the entrance from our wing was creepy, a dark and messy backroom/storage, the fresh juice comes from a bottle, the menu is not large, the food was mostly tasty, the portions small,The waiter was nice and helpful. The pianist, who played several classical pieces, greatly contributed to the atmosphere.in all a beautiful restaurant but not worth the price, another example of wasted potential. And with all that, it should be remembered that this hotel is cheaper than any of the 5-star hotels in the center, you get what you pay for. Regarding the location, it is true that there is convenient public transportation to everywhere and a good mall nearby, but around the hotel there are offices and neglected houses, almost no one is around when evening falls, which personally felt a bit unpleasant. And with all that, it should be noted that this hotel is cheaper then any of 5 stars hotels in the center, you get what you pay for, although with a bit of effort by the hotel management on the small details, this could be one of the best hotels.

    Great hotel

    rating24 Nov 2025

Great hotel for our needs. Very good location with metro station in short walking distance. Exceptionally clean. Lovely pool area (bear in mind you need a swim cap to enter). Gym was well equipped and SPOTLESS. Very good buffet breakfast with a wide selection. Very friendly and multilingual receptionist. Would highly recommend

Weird artwork, dark and uninviting with rude staff

    rating25 Oct 2025

Bedroom was large, bed pretty comfy and powerful shower( which wasn't that easy to get in and out of being in the bath) were the positives. The negatives are as follows.First impression of every hotel comes from the reception desk staff. The young lady who checked us in was so far in the corner and hidden by information on the desk to be invisible. She gave the impression she would rather be anywhere else. Our room was not particularly easy to find. On getting there we entered a very dark wood panelled space which may have been chic in 1990. This is actually typical of the hotel in general, dark with little by the way of windows. Just a suggestion, lose the panelling and paint the walls white. The breakfast lady was by far the most welcoming member of staff, followed by the young male night receptionist who helped us with a taxi driver who was trying to substantially rip us off. Beware. Breakfast was ok, just, as was the dinner we had in the restaurant which was pretty empty.Wishing the cleaners and staff with a good morning resulted in blank stares which had nothing to do with language issues but more to do with surlyness. Location is such that taxis to and from town are required especially if you have any mobility issues or are older. Wouldn't return.
