    Moskva was a nice hotel and a very pleasant stay. However, I’m writing this review because of the truly incredible Moskva staff. My friend was taxing from another hotel to Moskva, and left his bag with his passport in the backseat. Aranas Slavov, the front desk manager, went truly above and beyond to help. He called multiple taxi companies and got the security manager to check the security footage to figure out the license plate of the taxi, and managed to find the taxi and get it to come back to drop off the stuff. This was truly incredible service that went above and beyond what I would ever expect. He spent 30+ minutes helping us. This level of kindness and support from the staff made it such an amazing stay.

    Old Soviet building with dated fixtures and fittings. More of a hostel than a hotel. Bathrooms terrible, very basic room. The staffs answer to everything is “no.” Far from the city center and in a not very nice neighborhood.

    I had a business exam today, in one of the hotel conference rooms. In the evening before the exam, I called the reception and asked is it possible for an companion to wait for me in the lobby(my mother). The answer was positive. So she came with me. As she waits for me for 2 hours, the piccolo comes to her, call her a homeless bum, and explains that this is not a shelter... He told her that the manager tell him to get her out and tell her all that. She is 68 years old woman, dressed clean and decent. Wearing ASICS sneakers and a branded ski jacket... Do not ever go there, and if you want to use the conference rooms, choose a nother place...

    Rude personal at reception, parking?!?

    Really bad experience. When we arrived the “parking” in front of the hotel was full even tho we had reservation for 14people, they had somekind of a “party” at the 19th floor and when we asked were to park the people at the reception just said “i dont know”.Upon our arival there were 3 people behind the reception one was working and two women were just chatting when we wanted to ask for parking or even when we said hello, they didnt even look at us… that some “welcome”… very rude and unprofessional in my opinion.The other guy was nice enough, he said that he’ll call us when the parking gets empty when the guests from the party leave, long story short, we didnt get the call. When we finally got parking it is 75bgl for 3 nights, so much for “parking included”.To sum up if u want to have pleasent trip to sofia and feel respected enough to at least be greeted upon entering the hotel, maybe chose any other hotel.

    I stayed at this hotel during a dance festival and this was actually one of the few advantages of this hotel (all the workshops here held there). Cleaning ok.It is very cold in room (I slept on a sofe near the windows and I could not sleep because of the cold and the noise coming from outside). Breakfast is quite poor in terms of options (if you decide to have breakfast after 8:30, you will see that there is not much food left and they do not bring more).Also, they charge you for the parking. the card does not work when you want to exist the parking and since the doorman does not speak English it is quite difficult to explain that you have already paid for the parking.
