    Visit to the doctor

    rating05 Jun 2019

Excellent Location, we had appointment with the doctor in the Hospital next door. It was very convenient for us as it is centrally located near Pshar Thmey and the riverside. Easy access to the other places we wanted to visit. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly.

    Good location

Just a very short walk to the river, maybe three easy blocks. The rooms however have no windows and can feel a little like a cell. Staff were pleasant, but only functional. I asked for advice about booking onward travel, or other things to do in PP, and was advised to speak to a tuk tuk driver who could take me to a travel agency.

    A really bad experience

    rating07 Dec 2016

I booked a few nights here through agoda. I had a rude reception. Fill out form give me money, so I decided to look at the room before paying.I had booked a 14m2 room with a city view and ended up with no view and a tiny room that was barely big enough to walk around the tiny double bed.The TV was small and had a bad picture the toilet made gurgling noises there were no coat hangers and the mini bar wasn't stocked.I decided to ask if they had if they had the room I booked available and was told to wait. The receptionist phoned the manager and after a long delay told me to go as I had not paid. Leaving me with no hotel to stay and pouring with rain.Nobody here cares, give it a miss!

    Great location, friendly staff.

    rating06 Jul 2016

I sent an email to book two rooms for my team and Mr. Roy Edwards responded to my request shortly. My team was warmly welcomed and the check-in was fast and easy. The location is very central to night market, pub street, restaurants, river. Bus stop and royal palace are walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly, help, and well informative. They told everything we wanted. The AC worked very well and did love the pressure of water, hot and cold water were functional. The Free wifi was brilliantly fast. I could download my documents easily. Even I had a wonderful sleep, there were something that should be improved. When I arrived in the room, cigarette smell in the room. It should have been sprayed in the room to make good smell. ( Maybe, because I don't smoke.) And one more was the breakfast service. Faster service is a MUST. I was waiting for 20 minutes for the breakfast, I got only a cup of black coffee. I left the table without breakfast to bus. Beside these two points, l loved everything and will return there again.

rooms fine, shame about the other guests

    rating05 Jan 2016

Plus points: room was clean and comfortable; free tea and coffee good; location good.It seems most of the rooms do not have external windows, which gives the impression of being in a (gilded) prison cell. The walls are thin and noise made by other guests is audible at all hours of the day and night. This is a particular problem at nighttime as the hotel seems to attract an older solo male demographic (both Western and Asian) and is positioned near many hostess bars. Some of these patrons bring women back to the hotel and given the flimsy walls, let's say there is not much privacy. However on being confronted about the noise levels (which is all that bothered me - so long as they are consenting adults, I tend to live and let live), they did keep it down.
