Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, central heating and a fan. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub.     Disappointing Customer Service

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing. I accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay and realized the mistake too late, resulting in a no-show. I fully understand that hotels have operational and administrative costs, and I was absolutely open to covering reasonable charges or penalties.What surprised me was the complete lack of flexibility from Plantation Resort & Spa. Despite explaining the situation and requesting to simply move the booking to the actual dates I intended to stay, the only solution offered was a 7% discount on a new booking — which honestly felt quite dismissive given the circumstances.I travel frequently and have dealt with similar situations before, and most hotels at least try to find a fair middle ground. Unfortunately, that customer-oriented approach was missing here.The property may be beautiful, but good hospitality is also about how you treat guests when things do not go perfectly. We would also note that we only received your message two days after the scheduled check-in date.While we understand that booking errors can happen, especially when travelling frequently, we must apply our policies consistently and fairly to all guests. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered a discount on a new reservation; however, we were not able to transfer or amend the original booking to different dates.     Extraordinary resort. Personnel very attentive, smiling and friendly. Lots of plants and gardens in the resort, which is a nice break from Phnom Penh heat. Nice pool and excellent breakfast. I extended my stay twice because the resort was so good. The breakfast is beyond excellent. It stayed at more than 20 hotels this year and it was easily the best breakfast. Rooms are very clean and calm. Excellent value for the money. Will return without hesitation.

    The quality and ambience of the hotel, the staff, the amenities, the food & drink and the pool are truly amazing! We stayed here for just 2 nights whilst travelling around Asia and it was the hotel I kept thinking about & wishing I could go back to. The hotel is like a serene oasis away from the busy city of Phnom Penh. Once you’re in the grounds it’s instantly calm & relaxing with a truly beautiful aesthetic. All the staff, including and especially the exceptionally hard working grounds people, work so hard to keep this place pristine and it is so appreciated. From the welcome at the front gate, to reception, the bar, the spa and the time you say goodbye, everyone is so welcoming, kind and attentive. We were lucky we could check in 4 hours prior to official check in and we were so pleased.The rooms are large, cool, and with a very modern but warm design. We had a ground floor room just a few strides from the pool. The plants around the pool and rooms however keep everything private, and when you’re at the pool it’s like you’re in a jungle paradise. The atmosphere is calm and again, the bar and restaurant staff are brilliant and so attentive, with many orders being taken and delivered to the pool or loungers.Food is fantastic for the quality and plentiful, the same goes for drinks. I had a spa treatment and it was one of the best in my 36 years of existence, highly recommend a massage! The location is nestle away on a quiet street (as quiet goes for Phnom Penh), but once you’re in the grounds you really can’t hear a thing unlike another hotel we stayed at when we returned to Phnom Penh before flying. There are always Tuk Tuks outside and just a short and very cheap ride from other interesting places in PP and the staff at the hotel can help organise whatever is needed.I really had such a wonderful stay and can’t rate this hotel highly enough. We sincerely hope to be back in the future for a longer visit. Thank you so much!
