Location

This city hotel is the premier hotel of Phnom Penh and lies in the centre, only a few minutes' walk from countless sightseeing attractions. The national art museum, the royal palace, the market place and the Russian market are to be found in the immediate vicinity. Numerous shops, bars and restaurants are also to be found in the surrounding area. The transfer time to the airport is approximately 20 minutes.

Facility

The hotel has 172 rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday.     By far the very best venue to reside while in Phnom Penh. I've stayed at Raffles many times and the key point of differentiatuon is the service. Any issues that may occur "very infrequent" are resolved with prompt attention. Food is excellent and the Elephant bar is second to none.This is home while away from home. As an expat who shuffles throughout Asia I do appreciate a soft bed, clean room, good food, nice pool, and great service.     Two days before Khmer New Year, I visited the hotel as a walk-in guest to explore and experience the atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from the staff. Ms. Monorea and Mr. Chhart greeted me with genuine friendliness and bright smiles. They kindly offered me a refreshing glass of iced tea along with some snacks.Monorea also took the time to give me a tour around the hotel and shared some insightful information about its history and features.     What an oasis! On a referral, I decided to explore Raffles hotel while I was in Phnom Penh for a brief stay. I was already booked elsewhere so I decided to treat myself to a wonderful brunch. The surprises never ended from the delightful new restaurant manager Tum to the most incredible food and service. Highly recommend! It was also unexpected yet cherished that I was invited to an art opening that night at the hotel. Again, every last detail was impeccable, the guests were all embraced, the curated art of the local Cambodian people exceptional, and the passed hors d’oeuvres and poured drinks were delicious.     The most fantastic hotel.

    Words cannot express how amazing is this hotel. The elegance, the sense of grandeur and history was fantastic. Our room was huge with a private balcony. The marble bathroom had both bath and shower. Friendly helpful staff at both the restaurant and the magnificent Elephant Bar. There are 2 lovely pools, one for children, and both in a tropical setting. Staff bring fans and toiletries including citronella mosquito repellent to you poolside. We ordered some food and drinks poolside and that was very tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good. I'll go out on a limb and say this is the best hotel we've ever stayed in although of course that's subjective! I'd go to Phnom Penh just to stay here.
