luxury hotel with good design in center of Phnom Penh, easily walk to the Independent roundabout and Royal Palace, riverside. Very appreciate hotel staff to made our special vocation. We had a very nice, quiet room experience. Bravo! We will back!!! Alexis de Suremain, Owner at Pavilion, responded to this review Thank you very much for your kind review. Indeed, Pavilion is located in the centre of the city, very close to many attractions. Your warm words about the team mean a lot to us, and I will gladly share it with them. A gem of a hotel, my favourite of the whole trip!

    rating12 May 2026

Phnom Penh is HOT in May, but somehow, when you open the door of the Pavilion hotel, you leave the heat behind. The rooms are arranged around two lovely swimming pools with plenty of space to sit, set in verdant. well-kept gardens. Our room was very spacious with three windows so lots of natural light, but also efficient (and quiet) air conditioning and ceiling fan. The large double bed had a mosquito net, which we didn't need as the hotel also provided a plug in mosquito repellent. The staff were hugely attentive booking trips for us and offering advice, the food is wide-ranging with both Asian and Western options and lots of vegetarian and vegan offerings too. Everything we asked, the answer was yes. This is a really excellent hotel and great value too. Alexis de Suremain, Owner at Pavilion, responded to this review Thank you for such a thoughtful review. I am very happy to read that Pavilion became your favourite stay of the trip and that the gardens, pools and calm atmosphere helped you escape the Phnom Penh heat. We truly hope to welcome you back again one day.

    Old world charm

    rating03 May 2026

Hotel with historic charm. Beautiful pool with restaurant adjacent, second pool behind, lovely large rooms with everything you need. Believe there are 36 rooms in total. Location is great, easy walk to anywhere, lobby is lovely though the entrance is off the road and just a door -- so hard to find and pull your luggage out etc. Tiled floors are slippery. My partner fell down the stairs and hurt her foot, but the staff were super amazing, helped her to the hospital, gave her crutches, attended to her 100% fantastic. Food was delicious (breakfast and dinner). Did not get to use the pool. We had a large room to start with but picked a ground floor one after give the foot issue. Its the kind of hotel where everyone has a chat at dinner, which we really enjoyed. Very reasonably priced. Alexis de Suremain, Owner at Pavilion, responded to this review Dear Caroline, thank you for your kind review. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you both back to Phnom Penh again one day. Have a wonderful day ahaed!

Beautiful, serene, colonial era hotel in a very convenient location. Both pools are beautiful and the restaurant and food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was well appointed and very restful. Perfect. Alexis de Suremain, Owner at Pavilion, responded to this review Dear Clair, thank you for sharing such a lovely reflection. It is a pleasure to read that the serene atmosphere, colonial charm and central location made the stay enjoyable, along with the pools and restaurant. It is also nice to know the room provided a restful experience, in line with the calm setting of the villa. We hope to welcome you back for another peaceful stay in Phnom Penh.

    Good vibes and relaxing

    rating09 Apr 2026

Great location. Comfortable and the staff is great. My only complaint are the rooms are outdated and need an upgrade if they are to stay competitive with other hotels in the area. Alexis de Suremain, Owner at Pavilion, responded to this review Dear Alan, thank you for sharing this kind feedback. It is great to read that the good vibes, location and the team made your stay enjoyable. Your comment about the rooms feeling outdated is well noted and important for us. Pavilion is set within heritage villas, preserving their original character, which can sometimes feel less modern . Maintaining comfort and keeping up with expectations remains a priority, and we will keep it in mind for our ongoing improvements. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again for another stay in this green oasis.
