Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Siem Reap, a short tuk tuk ride from the city's popular Pscar Chas Market and Pub Street. It is around 20 minutes' drive to Angkor Wat and the location also provides easy access to other sites, such as the West Baray water reservoir. The hotel is just 2 minutes' walk from a mini-mart, coffee shop and ATM. The hotel is about 15 km from Siem Reap Airport.

Facility

51 rooms, including 10 junior suites, 10 single rooms and 30 double rooms, are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom, and air conditioning ensures just the right temperature. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a stereo system and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Sport

Filled with soothing salt water, the indoor and outdoor pools ensure comfortable swimming. There is also a children's pool. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the holiday village, including cycling/mountain biking, golf, a gym, a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and hiking. An entertainment programme and a kids' club are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A delicious breakfast guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte, or a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Absolutely fantastic experience. Probably the best place we have stayed thus far in our travels - a beautiful property in a perfect location, excellent bar (with proper cocktails available!)/restaurant, helpful and friendly staff, banging air con - what more could you want? Loved the eco friendly vibe too. They organised a tour of Angkor Wat for us and truly, it was brilliant. Our guide, Kim, was unparalleled in his knowledge and energy. He also is a photo wizard! We had such a wonderful time with him and would recommend you book the tour with the guesthouse just to have him as your guide! All in all, a great experience we would 100% repeat if we return to Siem Reap!

    We loved our stay at Babel Guesthouse. Especially the pool area is well done, and a good place to relax after a day outside exploring the wonderful Siem Reap. The food is also delicious and we ended up eating a lot at the restaurant in sted of going out.

    Babel guesthouse ist not only a great place to stay while in Siem Reap, but also a fantastic place to book your activities sustainably and ethically. They also offer a unique opportunity to come visit the tuktuk-drivers at home in their village and there a meal with them. We visited Dara and his family, and got to learn alot about his village and about Cambodian culture!

    Babble guest house was brilliant. As our first place to stay in Cambodia with the family. Really relaxing and staff very friendly and helpfull and also their tuc tuc drivers we also brilliant and would take you to where ever you required. I would stay there again as a very enjoyable environment to stay at.
