Location

For over 75 years, a visit to the ancient Angkor temples has been synonymous with a stay at Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor. Now sensitively restored, the hotel's renewed elegance and modernity complement the mystery and grandeur of Angkor as never before. A grand historic hotel, it is the place to stay when visiting Angkor and is a destination unto itself. Located on the edge of Siem Reap in Cambodia, it is about 8 km away to the famous Angkor Wat. Scores of shopping and entertainment venues as well as cultural institutions are located in the hotel's vicinity, while the city's airport lies about 8 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 131 rooms, including 4 suites and 6 studios, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, translation services, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Other amenities available include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service offers guests additional comfort. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, crazy golf and horse riding. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a café and a bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 3 non-smoking restaurants. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Amazing stay, look no further in Siem Reap!

    Look no further for a place to stay in Siem Reap. The Raffles Hotel (or Grand Hotel D’Angkor) is a living testament of time of over 90 years and takes you back to being an explorer of the temples in 1932. Everything was perfect and very well thought of; the building being immaculately restored, staff reading your mind and taking care of you very attentively. The breakfast was very tasty with a broad selection, the cocktails at the Elephant bar (including a variation of the famous Raffles Singapore Sling) were great, we also used the pool and the spa facilities. Rooms were very clean, nicely furnished with ample of amenities as well as little surprises on arrival and departure.We would definitively recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay in this hotel and look mo further.

    Wow! Wow! Wow! This hotel is amazing, the staff are so engaging, helpful & funny! The rooms are large & they haven’t tried to modernise them & it works brilliantly! Super comfortable beds & pillows, gorgeous bath/shower products,a fruit bowl replenished everyday, a turn down service. And the breakfast, amazing, delicious made to order & fantastic coffee. The extra activities provide for free are great fun & the staff providing them are full of knowledge. Have a ride in the electric tuk tuk. We didn’t use the pool but it looked beautiful as do the gardens, we did take advantage of the gym & it was so clean with good equipment & plenty of cleaning options available. Enjoyed drinks in the Elephant Bar.     There are so many compliments that it is difficult to know where to begin and how to include every single person involved in our wonderful stay.     We stayed here for three days as part of our tour. This is a lovely hotel with excellent staff. Food was very good. The pool was huge and it was a lovely area to relax after our long flight.
