With banana boat rides and diving available, the resort also caters to water sports enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, billiards, darts, callisthenics and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Full board is offered as a catering option. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary which Chan Na and Yanus and all staff made it extra special. The breakfast, the room , the pool was excellent.     Very Disappointing Stay Due to Staff Behaviour

    Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Somadevi in Siem Reap was very disappointing. The hotel itself feels quite dated and the breakfast was poor compared with many other hotels in the area.What really affected our stay was the behaviour of some of the reception staff, who were very rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. I had to raise a formal complaint about two staff members due to their behaviour towards me and my partner, which sadly ruined our stay — my partner was left in tears by their attitude.I raised the issue directly with the Customer Service Manager, Kimsinh. On arrival he came into our room and took a photo of me and him together without asking permission, which I found very strange and uncomfortable. I later complained to him about the overall behaviour of the staff.Although a guest liaison representative later apologised, we never received any acknowledgement or apology from the individuals involved.After leaving feedback through the booking platform, the hotel responded with a claim that I refused to pay an additional charge. This was never requested during my stay, which made the response even more disappointing. I was particularly surprised that the manager I had raised the issue with allowed such an inaccurate response to be posted.I travel to Siem Reap frequently and have since returned twice, staying at other hotels that were far superior and clearly value their guests. Unfortunately this experience was the opposite, and I hope the hotel takes steps to seriously improve staff training and guest relations. We were surprised to learn of the disappointment you shared on Tripadvisor regarding our hotel services. We would like to extend our sincere apologies for any aspect of your stay that caused dissatisfaction. We, the management team, take all feedback very seriously. Upon learning of the incident, necessary steps have been taken to review and improve our quality of service toward all our guests. Regarding the Incident and Our Policy Allow us to share our perspective after thoroughly investigating the incident you mentioned. On October 7, 2025, our team successfully checked you in. Later that evening at 10.15 PM, you brought a lady joiner to stay in your room. As a preventative security measure and a requirement by government policy, all guests residing at our hotel must register and provide a photo of their passport or ID card. Hence, upon learning you brought a joiner, we were required to request her ID for documentation and apply a surcharge of $15 per extra person. Unfortunately, you disagreed with the charge, which led to your disappointment when we followed the established government policy. Please note: Immediately, our Manager on Duty gave full authorization to the staff to waive the joiner fee entirely. Throughout your subsequent stay, from October 7–10, 2025, the joiner remained in your room without any charge. Our staff members continued to follow up to ensure everything was satisfactory, and you confirmed to our Guest Relations Officer that your stay was fine. We recognize that your original booking was for Single Occupancy, which caused the initial misunderstanding and dissatisfaction when our team requested the standard surcharge for an extra person to join your stay. We hope you understand that our policy is in place to protect the well-being and safety of all our customers and to comply with local regulations.     We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, staff were really bubbly and lovely, also very accommodating too. We had 3 nights here as we are moving around a lot but definitely wish we had longer. Cleanliness in the hotel was unmatched so any hotel I’ve been to yet. Only issue is the mosquitoes but that’s not a hotel issue, just unfortunate really, I recommend taking a really good bug spray as we are covered in bites.Food was lovely and cocktails were even nicer. We were handed a present (scarf) and the end of our stay to which the manager came up to our room to ensure we had a great stay and to pass us our scarves. All in all I would leave a 10/10 review.
