    This property is a little dated. Seems that it could use some remodeling and changes. The rooms were comfortable and clean, just seemed as if the carpet should be replaced. Not sure if it’s in a safe area or not. At night they had a security gate pulled across the front of the check in desk. They offer a breakfast, but it’s very bare bones limited selection. Friendly staff in the breakfast. They want to charge for any early check in, which really doesn’t make sense to me. This place served its purpose for a short trip to Abbotsford. Not sure I’d stay here again unless it was updated.     Been here a number of times before fishing for sturgeon on the Fraser River. Rooms are very clean, reasonably sized, clean bathroom with usual amenities. While outside noise is not bad, the AC is noisy particularly when it kicks in. Parking is easy, breakfast ok and service friendly.

    Big Room, Comfy Beds, and Staff Who Staff Who Are Knowledgeable on Gluten Free Options

    First, let me say we stayed in the tower. The room was a good size and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was a small refrigerator with a tiny freezer that was perfect for refreezing our freezer packs and chill our drinks. There was also a microwave and a single serving coffee maker. What probably impressed me the most was the breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, it had many of the same options as other places I’ve stayed at. However, the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient and most important for me, had knowledge of what options were gluten free. In addition, they actually had gluten free toast and a separate toaster for the gluten free bread - which they kept behind their counter to avoid cross contamination. That thoroughly impressed me and I will stay there again in the future. Kudos to the breakfast staff!!

    Didn’t stay but got charged!

    After seven months of trying to communicate with this hotel and never getting a response from the managers, I am now writing a terrible review because they charged us when we weren’t even staying at this hotel. We were all in town provincials for baseball and because we are members with best Western Somehow they charged us for this location when we were staying in the Alder Grove location I sent them proof. I showed them my credit card and they are refusing to refund me. This is a big loss for a family with kids and to not even get a response after 20 attempts is beyond unacceptable. I’ve left numerous messages and I’ve talked to the front desk and Knott wants to supervisor or manager respond now that provincials are coming up again and all of our baseball managers are aware of this. We will not be booking this hotel this summer wish you could’ve just communicated and not ignored and charge that should’ve never been.
