    We checked into Bestwestern Plus Calgary Centre Plus at the earliest time possible at 3pm. The hotel is located not far from the Chinook Centre Mall. Check-in at around 3pm went smoothly. Free coffee was available in the lobby, although the coffee was instant Nescafe and not brewed. The room was slightly larger than average, newly furnished, with a clean, maodern look, and came with a fridge, kettle. microwave, and 2 Queen beds. There were basins both inside and just outside of the bathroom, which was handy of one person ins occupying the bathroom. Free complementary hot and cold breakfast was served from 7am to 10am in a room in the basement across from the indoor pool. Breakfast included bread, cereals with milk, fruits (apples and bananas), sausage and eggs, cooked oats (with cranberry, walnuts and granola toppings), and make your own waffles. Hotel guests can park for free in the front limited spaces) and rear of the hotel.

    Dont waste your money on upgrading to a suite unless you want to bath in others filth. They may clean the tubs, but the jets need to be deep cleaned (removed and cleaned) or replaced. The pool would probably be nice in the summer until last fall months but in the winter months even doing laps wont warm you up. for $180 a night not worth it.

    Stayed here for 3 nights on arrival in Calgary. Comfortable clean room, well maintained. Pleasant helpful staff. Good value for money. Breakfast included. The leisure facilities were basic, but fine if you're just looking for a bit of chill from sightseeing.There was only one changing room, which was also the toilet only the cold shower at the side of the pool , so it was necessary to return to the room to shower but plenty towels. The jacuzzi was VERY gentle ( ripple really) but also had a 0.3 m deep childrens pool. The edge of the pool wasnt clean however the water in the pool seemed to be. The hotel is <10 min from town with a regular bus service from the door ($ 3.80 each way, must have coins ynless you have a prepaid card) Breakfast was self service and fresh, dissapointing that there is little consideration for sustainability, with paper & plastic cups in dinning room and bedrooms. Snack machine and beverages available self service outwith mealtimes

    We had a great stay at this Best Western. The Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The Hotel was quiet even during the day. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Calgary.
