This airport hotel is located only a few minutes from Calgary International Airport and offers easy access to downtown Calgary, a number of attractions in the Calgary area and Banff National Park.

Facility

201 non-smoking rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     I am very pleased with our stay at this hotel. We were a group of 16pax and we all had good words about the hotel. They were very nice to keep our luggages while we are away to explore Banff and Jasper. I wasnt expecting this, as we werent returning guests. It meant that they value guests experience.

    Bring away from home is hard sometimes. These people are like friends the way they treat you . If you want to feel like you are staying with friends you need to stay here.

    Never Again - Best Western Plus Port O'call Hotel

    We recently stayed at this hotel, and our experience was generally fine—until the final morning of our stay. At that point, the hotel manager on duty created an extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant situation for guests.The manager appeared to be on a “witch hunt” regarding wristbands in the pool area. Despite the fact that we had been using the pool for two days without any issue—and were never informed by front desk staff that wristbands were required—there was zero acknowledgment of the hotel’s own lack of training or communication.Instead of calmly resolving the issue by providing wristbands or explaining the policy, the manager chose to threaten guests with calling the police if they did not have wristbands. This response was completely unnecessary, hostile, and deeply disrespectful.I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel manager. A situation that could have been easily and professionally resolved was handled with aggression and intimidation instead.Based on this experience alone, I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone.     Sneaky about their pool max, make you book additional rooms to access pool

    I booked this hotel for my daughter’s birthday, with one additional child staying overnight. Prior to booking, I called the hotel’s main number several times and spoke with an operator to confirm whether a few additional children could join us at the pool. I was told this would be fine and that I would likely just need to provide their names for safety purposes.At check-in, I was informed for the first time that there is a strict maximum of four people allowed in the pool per room. This policy was never disclosed during my phone calls, nor is it clearly stated anywhere during the booking process. Because I booked through Expedia, I was unable to cancel and rebook elsewhere. Had I known in advance, I would have chosen a different hotel, such as the Marriott, where this is not an issue.I am a single mother navigating a high-conflict custody situation and took extra steps to ensure my daughter could have a safe and stress-free birthday celebration. Due to this undisclosed policy, I was forced to book a second room at additional expense just to allow the children to attend.At the pool, I spoke with other parents who shared that they had experienced the same issue and were also required to book additional rooms. This strongly suggests a pattern of non-transparent practices that result in unexpected costs for guests.If this policy were clearly disclosed upfront, many families—including myself—would simply choose another hotel. I have hosted similar birthday stays at other hotels for the past three years without any issues.I will not be staying here again and would strongly caution families to clarify all pool access rules in advance.     Very loud hallways

    We stayed here for one night to take our son to Zoolights. The room itself was fine but the walls are thin and the hallway extremely loud. We were woken up multiple times throughout the night by drunk passersby. Our son did enjoy the pool and slides but at 10 years old he is too big to get much out of it. Last there is lots of parking but the underground lot has extremely tight corners.
