    Hotel and venue is great for families, but not the easiest place to get to or from mostly due to all the construction. It's a bit out of the way, although everything you need is within the building.     Deerfoot rarely disappoints. Staff is incredible.     The best part was the pool area. My children loved the slide, the hot tub, and the kids pool. However, the kids' pool had a slide that had a crack in the concrete that scratched you when you went down it. I am glad that they closed the small kids' slide for fisxing after I let them know about it. We really enjoyed the food and the service there. The front desk staff were very helpful, inviting and kind. We loved the sitting area in the lobby.The room was clean and spacious. It is a nice place, but somewhat expensive compared to some other hotels.     The hotel was great, they totally accommodated the group we were with and made sure we had breakfast every day.
