    We stayed for one night before our flight home. Anmoi checked us in and another gentleman checked us out - they were both friendly and welcoming. Anmoi was so cute and he even offered us a welcome drink, which was a nice surprise.Hotel appears older but relatively well-maintained. Our room appears clean, and the mini fridge works, but their trash cans had no liners. We did not hear any noise during our stay and we slept well. But the shower head was low for someone over 6-foot tall, and we were almost locked inside the bathroom as the door knob was jammed (room 427).Airport shuttle needs to be prebooked with the front desk at check-in for airport departure, and leaves on the hour and was punctual, although it took about 25 minutes at 5am in the morning for us that day, and driver did say that it could take longer during peak hours. Airport shuttle is shared with Element hotel next door.Area is near Sunridge Mall, including lots of other shops and restaurants on the Bus 19 loop.

    Nice stay till Surge pricing changed our view

    It was our first stay at this hotel but we are regular visitors to Calgary.The location was great for us and check in was a breeze. Room was clean and comfy and car was tucked into underground parking lot which felt very secure. We would have been back for next visit except for one thing— upon checkout I noticed the 2nd night cost an additional 20 bucks. I had booked the room a couple weeks in advance and didn’t recall any price change so I asked at front desk— Surge pricing was the response as hotel was busier on our second night! If I was a walk in I might understand but to increase the cost of a pre booked room didn’t sit well. It was my first experience with surge pricing for hotel booking so it may be an industry ‘thing’ so I will ask in advance next time I book at any hotel and it will affect my future bookings at this hotel.

    Avoid at all costs. Airport shuttle took one hour to arrive after calling when I arrived. , the room was dirty with hair on the shower walls. , rooms were old and dated. There was no breakfast to go available. And the desk clerks were not helpful

    Great room that was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very quiet too. Didn’t eat there and so we can’t comment. Only big negative was getting the airport shuttle from airport-was kept on hold on the phone for over 10 minutes to be told we had just missed a shuttle. Next one in 30 minutes. We spent the next 35 minutes watching everyone else get their shuttles at bay 16. The shuttle bus also had a very bad windscreen crack which didn’t inspire confidence. Disappointing.

    Need to improve check in experience and communication

    We stayed here for one night and rented two separate rooms for our stay.Upon checking in, my credit card chip wasn’t working to pay holding amount for incidentals. I asked if I could pay by manually putting in credit card information and I was told that it was not allowed due to hotel policy. I then asked if I could use tap as it was working on my credit card. Again I was told that it was against hotel policy. Eventually a manager came and was able to use my visa debit card to pay for the incidental hold payment, but told me this would be an exception to the rules. This waiting to check in was a real pain as we had driven from BC and were checking in late as it was. Very frustrating.Also, during check in we did not receive information or vouchers for the breakfast included in our booking that we had to pay extra for. This I got myself in the morning when I asked how we got our breakfast. Should have been given this information as well at check-in.Then, later when we went to enjoy the pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna, the steam room was not working. Again. I went to the front desk to ask about the steam room, I was told it was not working and down for a month. Again, this should have been communicated at check-in or noted on website so I could have had this information before booking.The hot tub was absolutely disgusting and had brown residue on sides of hot tub and looked like someone added bath bubbles to hot tub. So, we did not use hot tub. The sauna was working thankfully and the pool was heated.In the room , the bed was comfortable and was the only real positive for our stay. Both rooms TV remotes were not working for on demand options and there was no Netflix or other app options to watch movies on the TV’s. This should be addressed.Overall , not happy for service and overall experience especially when you are paying for two rooms. We won’t be back.
