    General Manager is a smarmy, rude, woman.

    I have stayed at other hotels that will allow for a credit card pre-authorization if the person staying at the hotel does not have a credit card, including other IHG hotels. I called two days before my stay to arrange this and the Manager, Cherry, refused to work with me or to try and help in anyway. She had an attitude and her tone of voice noticeably shifted when I asked her how I could get my money back. She told me to call Expedia (who I booked through), I did and they told me to call the hotel. I spent two hours of my day trying to sort this out with ZERO resolution. As it stands right now I won't be allowed to check in over a $50 deposit that needs to be paid via credit card. That's $550 they took from me for no reason other than to be petty, classist and exclusionary. Good job Cherry, you successfully humiliated a mom just trying to help her daughter move out of University dorms at the end of the term.     Impressed with our stay. We booked for the quick access to McMahon stadium, and a strip mall full for restaurants without having to drive around. There was underground parking, a pool with waterslide and a hot tub, as well as continental breakfast. The room we had was very spacious. Left feeling good with our stay

    We were really impressed with how spacious this Holiday Inn was, even the hallways felt big and open. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept so well. We booked here for easy access to McMahon Stadium and it made getting to and from the games quick and stress free. Great stay overall!     The room itself was clean however, the hotel was generally not in the best area and several people at the conference I was staying at commented on it's location. I hope it improves, but I was unsure of the spot once I heard these reviews in person.     This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long while. I'll list the pros and then the cons. Pros:-Staff were friendly-Room was clean-Free underground parking-Actual Dove brand toiletries-Hot breakfast -Pool and gym-Easy to locate-Offered free basic toiletries if you forgot themCons:-the door didn't latch properly so you needed to take extra care when leaving-the pool closes at 9pm which is quite earlyAll in I very much enjoyed the stay and will book again.
