Location

This hotel is located at the heart of Calgary, within a short distance of a selection of bars, restaurants, nightclubs, links to the public transport network and the local railway station. Fort Calgary may be reached by car in around 10 minutes and Calgary Zoo is around 15 minutes away whilst it is 25 minutes to Canada’s Olympia Park.

Facility

The hotel has 83 single rooms and 118 double rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere.     Although it is an old hotel, everything was very clean and the staff were kind, helpful and friendly. The location is close enough to walk to the theatre district and the nearby restaurants along Stephen’s Ave. We had a pleasant stay and would come again. A definite value for money and its close proximity to shops, public transport, restaurants, etc is big plus, although facilities are a bit dated.     This Hotel is very nice and the staff very friendly and service top level. I arrived late at night and the it was smooth check in and the rooms were very nice spacious and clean. The noise level was ok , only when people talking in the hall way. Value for money since its down top near most things are in walking distance. Very good atmosphere at the bar in hotel , very good service too.
