  A five star stay done right in Calgary

  Stayed on April 3–4, 2026We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this property and were very impressed with the overall experience.The room was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, offering all the amenities needed for both short and extended stays. We particularly appreciated the abundance of power outlets throughout the room, making it convenient to charge multiple devices. The bedside sockets with USB-A and USB-C ports were a thoughtful and practical touch.The room itself was spacious, with plenty of natural light, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was evident that the property maintains high standards and does not compromise when it comes to guest service and comfort.Housekeeping services were available daily upon request, and the quality of linens and towels was excellent. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were professional, well-presented, and attentive—something that is increasingly rare in today’s hospitality industry.Ample free parking was always available, which added to the convenience of our stay. Although we did not have the opportunity to use the gym or pool, these facilities were available on-site.While complimentary breakfast was not offered, it was not an issue for us as we chose to dine বাইরে. We did appreciate the availability of complimentary coffee in the lobby.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to return on our next visit to Calgary.A well-deserved five-star stay.

  Hot water issues

  Stayed in December, no hot water . stayed in January, no hot water. front desk suggested a stay in the newer signature side would have hot water $$$ vacumning hallways at 7:30 in the evening :(

  Nicely renovated hotel witk convenient suites

  We have stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The hotel near the airport is older but is nicely renovated and looks now modern and new. The mostly business clientele outside the weekend had a lot of professional pick-up trucks, but there is enough parking space.In the lobby you could find free tea and water but no free coffee.We had a suite with a separate sitting room with a sleeping sofa with a door between the sittingroom and the bedroom. There is a small kitchen with a sink, ,microwave, real glasses, cutlery and tableware. The air conditioning is old and noisy and does not cool the sitting room. Breakfast is not included.There are two steak restaurants on the grounds of the hotel. , Owner at Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport, responded to this review Thank you for your kind review of our property.   Convenient for airport travel

  What I liked-this a Canadian company (important to me when considering my options)-very frequent free shuttles to and from the airport (note my shuttle driver was lovely)-staff helpful and friendly-pool was nice and a great temp, I had an enjoyable relaxing swim-fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room, with tea bags and coffee. Hotel decor is modern, the lobby has an esp nice lounge area to wait for your shuttle. What could be better-the fitness centre is small (looks like a converted room). Has a set of free weights, a few cardio machine and one weight machine. -not a lot of food in the area. Moxies was closed for breakfast when I stayed so I relied on some fruit and trail mix I had packed for snacks in the am. Free breakfast would have been a big asset. -consider using soap dispensers instead of the little bottles that just get thrown out. , Owner at Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport, responded to this review Thank you for your response Leanne.   Clean Room, But Needs Upgrades

  I stayed at this Sandman Hotel for business and found the room to be clean, with a nice bathroom featuring a separate shower and bathtub. The room itself was decent in size, but the mattress was very old and overly soft. You sink right in when you lie down, which made sleeping uncomfortable.The pillows came in “soft” and “firm” options, but both felt quite similar and still too soft for my preference. There was also a couch in the room, but it seemed worn and outdated.The temperature control thermostat on the wall wasn’t in use, and instead there was an older-style air conditioning unit running, which was quite loud. I tried switching on the thermostat but wasn’t sure what it controlled, as there were no visible air vents in the room.Overall, while the cleanliness, bathroom setup, and availability of Moxie’s room service were positives, the furniture and bedding are in need of an update for a more comfortable stay. , Owner at Sandman Hotel Calgary Airport, responded to this review Thank you so much for your review of our property.
