    Not Sure Wyndham Rewards is Worth It

    I was there one day then my husband continued the stay while I had surgery.The staff is friendly and helpful.I like a firm mattress but the beds are hard...very hard.When turning on the bathroom sink there was a gush of rust particles that coated the sink. Since the water was suspect, we used bottled water throughout the stay.Breakfast is good, hot and cold choices and the coffee tasted decent.Considering the cost I guess it was OK as you get what you pay for.I try to book Wyndham hotels but the hotels are going downhill fast. Poor maintenance and cleanliness. The bonuses of having a membership is not as good as it was in the beginning. I now question my loyalty.

    Tired property, needs maintenance and up keep. Not sure if they have a maintenance staff but if they do, fire them. Even for the price its suspect. Only thing missing is the blood stain and chalk line.     Live in the city, booked for one night for fun night with kids who wanted to enjoy the pool and waterslide.Excellent room rate, very nice room. Just beware a LOT of kids with family and sports clubs staying and very noisy all night. Kids had a blast in the pool, but at one point easily 40 ppl in that small pool area.

    Small parking stall for an oil province with large trucks.. Staff were friendly. The king bed-mattress wasn't very friendly to my back over a weeks stay..     I recently stayed at the Super 8 Calgary Shawnessy for two nights and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and clean, which made for a very comfortable stay.One of the biggest highlights was the staff—they are incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. In terms of value for money, you can't beat this location. Having access to free parking was a huge plus, and the indoor pool and waterslide were a fantastic bonus that added a lot of fun to the trip.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and friendly place to stay in Calgary.
