  A costly experience

  We have stayed at this hotel a number of times before and after our frequent flights to Texas. We actually preferred this hotel over others because of it was convenient, reasonably priced, and their shuttle service was very good. Also there is a restaurant within a short walk. However we encountered a problem at our last visit which has resulted in a decision to no longer stay here again. We had booked a stay for the end of our trip and went in to leave our car for the time we were away. We had done this a number of times before. Much to our dismay, we were told that this policy had changed. The only way we could leave our car was to pay for a room for that day. We argued that there was no notification on their website and no information at the hotel other than what the receptionist was saying. We had no choice but to pay as the shuttle was waiting for us. It was a very disappointing and upsetting time to be treated like this and to know we would not be staying here again.

  I am writing to escalate a serious service issue I experienced during my recent three‑night stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Airport. As a Platinum member, I rely on Wyndham properties for consistent service and reliability, and this stay fell far below the standards I have come to expect.Throughout my entire stay, my room was not cleaned even once. Despite multiple requests, the only response I received from the front desk was the offer of towels—no housekeeping, no garbage removal, and no basic room refresh. On Friday, the room was again not cleaned, and I was again told that towels were the only option.Additionally, I was informed that the manager would contact me directly regarding my concerns. I never received a call. The lack of follow‑through and disregard for guest concerns made the situation even more unacceptable.This was a three‑night stay with my three children, and the complete absence of housekeeping created significant inconvenience and frustration. The entire weekend was an unacceptable experience.Given the repeated service failures, lack of communication, and the impact on my stay, I am asking that this matter be formally reviewed and escalated, and that I receive follow‑up regarding the resolution and compensation provided.Thank you for your attention. Services such as towel exchanges, garbage removal, and replenishment of amenities are always available upon request, and our team is available 24/7 to assist with these needs at any time during a stay.Based on our records, these policies were communicated at check-in and also displayed in-room for reference. We also have documented logs showing that our team assisted with your requests during your stay, including towel exchanges, garbage removal, and a light cleaning service provided on Saturday at approximately 3:30 PM in response to your request.We also want to clarify that our Front Desk team did provide contact details for our Front Office Manager for any further follow-up.   Wish I was staying longer!

  Super convenient - close to airport and quick shuttle service. It was quiet at night and the lobby and hallways were bright and clean! I had an issue with the bed in my assigned room but front desk staff were quick to give me a new room that was as good or better! My room smelled fresh and clean when I arrived. (Nothing better than crisp, clean cotton sheets!) Param and the breakfast crew were friendly and quick to refill any items that were getting low while also answering questions! The housekeeping staff were super friendly as well (helped me to look for a misplaced key card). I truly wish I was staying more than one night so that I had time to check out the other amenities! Oh! Almost forgot The Market! A cubby by the front desk where one can purchase snacks, drinks and even microwaveable meals!! And at what seemed like reasonable prices! Overall it was a great stay!   Excellent from check in to check out, all front staff gave excellent sevice and very friendly. Rooms were spotless and extremely quiet. Pool, hot tub and exercise area well maintained and clean.   Stage here for one night on a layover. Rang when I arrived and airport shuttle arrived about 20 minutes later. Anna was absolutely lovely, as were the ladies at reception!
